Stop, don't do it, RUUUUUN!! This place is absolutely horrendous! Each member of my family had a separate appointment on different days and at various times. Each of us were on time (5-10min ahead of appointment AFTER completing paperwork). Without fail, EACH one of us had to wait a minimum of 90min and a max of 2hr and 15min before seeing the doctor...that's well over a half day of wasted time!?!? The doctor did not rush with any of us. However, there was no apology, explanation or ownership of the time we wasted. I had the worst experience. Dr Joy is unprofessional and the staff is about the same. I waited two hours for an appointment for her to complain about being hungry and thirsty. the medical assistant complained of need to go to her mental health appointment. I have been a long time patient of Potomac physicians over 25 years. I've seen a decline in the service they provide especially with the Covid Shutdown. I recently had a baby in April 2022 and our pediatrician Dr. Jovonsia Taylor had cancelled our appointment on 2 separate occasions without prior notice. Mind you our appointments are every 2 months. I show up to the facility sign and wait only to be told she won't be in today. The same convenience they request from patient of at least 24 hours should be given in return. To make matters worse I'm wasting my time and money to fly in for Drs appointment that are detrimental to my child's health and growing. How does an establishment have no other pediatricians available but one. I will never recommend this place any longer. There aren't any good things to say about Potomac Physicians or Dr. Taylor. read more

I knew wen my doctor retired that I would have a prob with finding another so I saw another doctor by the name of spradly I addressed 1 issue with her then she left out of room saying she'll b back 5 mins went by assist comes n & says I'm done I say I'm finished & the doctor said she'll b back then I was told no she's not I was told I should've said something wen she was addressing 1st issue & my visit had reached its limit did u hear me MY APPT HAD REACHED ITS TIME LIMIT & that I needed 2 make another appt they done lost their damn minds up there no more nvr again this medical field is getting outta hand try 2 stay healthy & away from Potomac at 4 west rolling rd read more

Run!!! Don't walk far away from this ridiculous place! Staff is rude, and unprofessional. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment, be prepared to wait at least an hour to be seen. This place is so unprofessional. The nurse practitioner I was seeing is very unconcerned about my thoughts on my health. They do not ask questions and rush through the visit after sitting in the waiting room for over 1 hour. I refuse to return here and have changed to another physician. read more

This place is hell. Unprofessional and know matter if you are on time or early, you will be seen late, period. They make you pay a co-pay to get forms filled out, the nurse practitioner does not care about what you say and they don't have the proper forms that you need to be filled out. Appointment at 4, get here at 350 vitals at 420 see the nurse practitioner at 445... and doesn't leave until 5:15. This place is ridiculous and if they will tell you stuff that you already know about yourself, then charge you more. I am currently looking for a new doctor because this place is the worse and everyone needs to be fired and start with a whole new staff and let me say it again. The staff is very very rude!!!!! November 2020 the made me and my 1 week old baby wait outside in the cold.. yes I understand Covid season was bad but in Most doctors offices the new born baby rooms are already prep and ready further more we were outside in the freezing cold for 30 mins. Each time my baby has an appointment the staff are very unprofessional and they are just not friendly people. It's no way in hell the staff they have now should be the face of this office. The only reason I choose to deal with it for a year now is because My daughter pediatrician Dr. Taylor is so amazing that's why I'm giving the office 1 star because it's just for her and her work. Once my daughter turns 1 in Fall 2021 we have to say goodbye for good. I would never recommend this office to anyone ever in life the staff put a very bad taste in my mouth. This place is a hell hole if you get there early you wait almost 2 hours to see a doctor if you 10 to 15 minutes late you have to wait 3 hour for him to show. I wouldn't suggest going here unless you want to die while waiting. To me the staff is iffy ony 2 or 3 people are professional and the people who answer the phone has terrible customer service skills. read more

I have been to this location for over ten years. The staff is ok with customer service but the manager needs Customer Service Training 101 and 202 classes. The manager first gave wrong information about setting up an appointment, because of insurance carrier that was used and what the policy holder's relationship to patient. When I spoke with the manager to clarify that the insurance company would pay claims and that the family member would be covered after being add to policy ( a newborn). Manager demanded a fax from insurance carrier stating the above was true, I called insurance company received fax and sent to manager. I received a call from manager stating the fax was received but if I wanted an appointment for the family member I would have to pay out of pocket $182. I asked to speak with a higher supervisor the manager and I quote "why would you want to do that ". They transferred me to their billings department. They try to explain that with newborns they do whats called a pay and chase. It takes about 12-45 days for a newborn to be added to a insurance policy so the center wants their monies up front then you wait till the center can bill insurance carrier to receive your refund can take up to 3-4 months. After talking with my insurance carrier they say there is suppose to be and understating with insurance carriers and healthcare providers about newborn. They after 45 days and as long as new member is added the insurance carrier will pay claims to health provider for service. Sad part I had to pay the $182 out of pocket, the hospital now requires newborns to have a doctor's appointment set up before being release. We brought the baby in for schedule appointment, the clerk asked for my insurance information standard request but she reads notes on file on computer then the manager comes out of office yelling your insurance no good I told you your insurance is no good here...key point here because my insurance as been active since 1993 and still current with no breaks of coverage. The clerk shakes her head at manager and says " I don't know why this is happening to you, you have been with us a long time I"m sorry" she also tells me not to lose receipt and to call when I receive my EOB from insurance carrier to start a refund request early. It took about 2 months for my full refund of $182 the insurance carrier only paid $67 to provider. This place definitely needs to be reported to whom ever the regulatory agency is for physician offices. I left this place 15 years ago for the same crap that is still occurring today with other family members. The lack of concern for the patients health is so ridiculous! The wait time to be seen for an appointment is ridiculous! The multiple calls that you have to make before anyone calls you back with lab/test results. If you call them out on these concerns then they want to become unprofessional. My time is valuable just as theirs and it requires too much time having to deal with these people. At some point I hope my family members will come to the point that they get tired of the poor service from these people and move on. There are too many practices out here providing wonderful service to patients. read more
