Visited for a Saturday Morning Breakfast Extravaganza and has a great time! The club members/volunteers were all very nice and helpful - especially Howard and Brian. They gave great instruction and made it even more fun to learn! Breakfast included scrambled eggs, tater tots, sausage, bacon, yogurt, and biscuits. I was honestly really surprised how much work they put in to prepare the event. After breakfast, we assembled teams and played a game. Definitely ask your club members to rotate throwing and get a chance to be the skip or throw the hammer. Sweeping was actually really tiring and throwing required some balance so make sure you warm up your legs, back, and shoulders before starting. Can be a good idea to bring a small bag to keep all your belongings together in the warm room. You can see the ice from there but just nice to keep it organized.

Came for the breakfast extravaganza today and had a blast! My bf and I are complete beginners and he's been wanting to try curling forever so I found this place on google and went with the Saturday breakfast option since it included instruction and a game. The only problem is it fills up ridiculously fast (like it opens at 8:00pm and if you try to sign up at 8:01pm it's full) because there are only 12 non-member slots. However, that slight headache was totally worth it! We started at 8am with an hour of instruction on the ice, which helped to practice and know the terminology. Definitely dress warmly for this part because you're standing around a lot! I had a hat, gloves and 2 layers on top and bottom and was still cold. Then we went in the warming room for breakfast and finished by playing a game (2 beginners and 2 members on each team). Playing an actual game was so fun and way more challenging than you'd think! Time flew by and we were disappointed to stop! You definitely get your money's worth as we played til 12pm. My only suggestion is to bring a water bottle with you. You definitely move more during the game and I wish I had mine handy. Afterwards people sat around sharing a few drinks and fun conversation. I really enjoyed chatting with the members and instructors - everyone is super friendly and willing to teach you things along the way. We will definitely be back!!

Hanging with J.R and other curlers - checking off a Bucket List item (watching a game in person) and enjoying the ambience and sportsmanship. Wonderful facility with great camaraderie. Nice viewing area. Good people. Good time! #Sportsmanship #CurlingRocks Thank you J.R for all the inside info on this sport, and for your time in conversation. Let's get the University of Maryland on board with this club! #UMD

I had a really nice time here. They have four sheets of curling, so it can fit 32 (8x4) people curling at one time. The bathrooms are in the connecting hockey rink. If you walk to the bathroom by the cafe, those are heated. The "On Curling Now" sign is actually in the closest hockey rink. I spent some time trying to find it, but I was too embarrassed to ask where it was. My daughter is ten and she curled. I think they have a program on Saturday mornings for kids even younger than that. There is also a playground outside for the kids.

I look forward to the season starting in October of every year--and volunteer to build the ice (we are an all volunteer organization).

I absolutely love supreme sports club! My favorite out of all the Columbia Association gyms due to…read morethe variety of equipments, extensive weight lifting space in the basement and long hours, they are open from 4AM to Midnight daily. Staff is friendly, facility is clean. One frustration is sometimes being abruptly asked to leave a room due to an upcoming class, outside of this love love love this gym. They offer lots of classes, have cleaning wipes and sanitizing sprays for members yo use. They have trainers who offer personal training and also run the classes.

Where do I begin. I…read morerecently endured an extremely anxiety-inducing situation at the Supreme gym facility where another member (picture is included) nearly physically assaulted and verbally abused me. The employees at this location sided with the hostile gym member (later on in the altercation the gym member made it obvious that she has an external friendship with the supervisor, Sarah Claunts). Sarah Claunts, the day time gym supervisor, spoke to me in a condescending and sarcastic manner while I explained to her the situation. Long story short: I played music softly (emphasis on softly because the volume was less than halfway on) while warming up in an open workout studio. The hostile gym member was on the opposite end of the room doing their workout. As soon as they heard my music, they immediately started screaming "NO NO TURN YOUR MUSIC OFF I AM NOT GOING TO HEAR IT". Considering the individual was so hostile, I ignored them and turned my music down. The individual then began to approach me while saying "IM SPEAKING ENGLISH DONT YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?! TURN IT OFF". At this point, the individual was now hovering over me while I sat on the ground, all while they clenched their fist and screamed so aggressively I even felt spit come out of their mouth. I explained this situation to the staff, even recorded the situation, and all they could say was delete the footage and don't play music or record ANYTHING/ANYONE in our facility. I immediately sent an email to Columbia association explaining and they could not even apologize for the way I was treated. All they asked was to speak on the phone. I said I wanted to speak through email and they did not want to continue investigating this matter. Attached are photos of the obvious hostile member and how close they were to hitting me. I don't know how else to go about this matter besides warning other people to avoid Columbia in its entirety.
