They created the PERFECT arrangement for the occasion I needed them for. I spoke to a very kind lady on the phone, and she was extremely helpful and competent. I needed to change the delivery time on the day of delivery due to changing circumstances. They delivered them at the perfect time as needed. The flowers were so beautiful that they look AI created!! I will definitely order from them in the future! read more

Postoak Florist - This is the gorgeous arrangement that they delivered!! LOVE IT!! - Florists Near Me - College Station, Texas

This place was amazing! My type B sister decided at 11pm the night before her event she wanted a floral bouquet so she had them to take pictures with. Her request was no roses and non ugly with spring flowers. I called the shop right at 9am when they opened, and was in luck! They were able to make a beautiful bouquet within the hour. They were so kind and easy to work with, so I would highly highly recommend purchasing from them for any of your floral needs! read more

Went in and asked for flowers of "just because of 34.00" went to pick them up and older lady was very rude. Tried explaining to her I had an order, gave my order confirmation to older white lady in the front with glasses and also provided pictures of what was ordered as well with pictures of my order number. Deny deny is what the lady gave me. Than I asked for the owner the owner had glasses too and was very more profesional than the other lady. Better approach and more calm If the owner provided the service everyday I would go in but not for the other lady she was very unprofessional and rude from the beginning for no reason. Especially if elder should have more experience than me. Ended up getting the flowers anyways and I understand people have bad days but you work in customer service get your act together pretend if you have too but there are no excuses. read more

Response to the owner's comment. 1) They said I failed to tell them the nature of the situations FALSE. I did in fact tell whoever I placed the order to ensure the flowers were delivered after a certain time because she was getting engaged and I couldn't be there. Whoever took my order ensured that would be the case. 2) They said I didn't tell the husband I was sending congratulatory flowers. FALSE. I did tell him and he said that would be such a nice thing to have those waiting for her when she got back to the house 3) You said I ordered on Mother's Day. FALSE. I ordered the Saturday before Mother's Day. That's not my fault if it's their busiest time of year, they should still have their business in order, which they clearly don't if they have to make an addendum to their own policy. 4) They said they gave my money back and offered to apologetic flowers to both me and my friend. Partially true. They did give me money back after I repeatedly called them to do so. Who would want apologetic flowers after you ruined the surprise. No one. And it was either or, they first offered the flowers and I said she didn't want them and asked for a refund. It took forever for them to finally give me a refund. Quit trying to cover your tracks and just own up to your mistake. read more

Although the owner was cordial, she decided to upsell me on a single rose with questionable wrapping and greenery. The total ended up costing me nearly $9 for a single flower. A word to the wise; electing to 'fleece' rather than 'skin' a customer is a far better business proposition. read more

I ordered flowers for my mother today and they were even more beautiful than the picture online. The online ordering was quick, reasonably priced, and convenient. When I called the shop to ask a question the woman who answered was very friendly. Would order again! read more

We love the flower arrangements . Beautiful flowers Great design that I brought it home for display instead of throwing it away for the next bride to be ...Though it was kinda expensive but we can live with that since they came on time for the wedding ceremony and at the reception ... read more

They have an issue with their website where if you go to review your order and want to make a change or cancel, if you don't click cancel order or accidentally leave the site, it will charge you anyways. I called and asked them about it. Their manager and employee, Joanna, were NOT very helpful (and somewhat rude). They charged me money to cancel even though the date to ship was weeks away. Being in Aggieland, I'd expect them to be understanding that their website is messed up and it was their issue. As an Aggie myself, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. Go with one of the other floral shops in town. Thanks and Gig'em C/O 2014'and read more

Once again, full satisfaction. Just the fact that we can order with the certainty that our request will be duly met is a plus, not to mention the fact that our friends are happy with the arrangements that we have picked so far. I've ordered flowers from another local College Station shop before and was very pleased. I wanted to try a different local shop for a lower price since I'm a bit short on money because of the holidays. I decided to give Post Oak Florist a try since the reviews on yelp seemed reasonable and the delivery fee was affordable. I wanted to send flowers to my mother to surprise her since I don't live in College Station to deliver them myself. The online ordering went smoothly. I ordered approximately around 11am and the flowers were delivered around 5pm to my mother. Everything seemed perfect except for the fact that the florist enclosed the PRICE TAG on my order!!!!! So my mother knew exactly how much I spend on the flowers. That completely ruined everything! I will never order from this place again!!! read more

Postoak is wonderful to work with. Not only do they create the most amazing arrangements for weddings and events, they also will create a masterpiece for your home!! I went in wanting a succulent garden and the next day I had the most beautiful, unique and affordable arrangement that I could even imagine. They really listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond. I am so happy with what they created for me, I know I will be back for more! Thank you Debbie and your amazing team!! read more

I ordered an arrangement online today, and while the flowers were pretty, they were not as modern or styled as the picture online. I even upgraded my arrangement but it looks like the flowers were just thrown together without much thought. I definitely do not feel as if I received my money's worth. read more

My father had surgery, I live out of town & was unable to be there for him in person. I called with a same day request to get something very special to him. In my family, flamingos mean protection (silly, but true) and really how could you NOT send a plush flamingo to a 6'8" man in the hospital for a total knee replacement!? The staff at Postoak went above & beyond the call of duty to fulfill my request. This should be your first & only call for a florist in College Station/Bryan! read more

We had a sympathy arrangement sent to a service. It was a beautiful arrangement however I have experienced better quality flowers. We did request yellow instead of red roses (at no additional cost) so I don't know if maybe they are out of season and have to be shipped in? Roses were a little bruised. There were a large amount of lilies however out of the 12-13 only two were open. Everything else was good: customer service, card spelling correct and timely arrival. It wasn't bad but it wasn't excellent. This was my first experience with Postoak Florist on a recommendation from another florist (they couldn't deliver to my location.) read more

My fiance and I visited Post Oak Florist today to briefly discuss flowers for our wedding. When we entered the store it seemed like there was no one working there and only customers, because no one paid us any attention. They only glanced at us briefly. After a few minutes one lady very rudely greeted us after I glanced at her. She basically asked what we were doing there and I responded that we were wondering about flowers for our wedding and she just said "you need an appointment with her". Then, another lady proceeded to give me a stack of bridal magazines, mumbled something about a wedding rehearsal and being busy then shoo-ed us out the door. Not only thing, but there was one older lady in the back room constantly staring and my fiance and I, not breaking eye-contact. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience, and if further experiences will be this way, there is no reason why they should even be in business, as customer service should be a priority. We definitely will not be returning and discourage others from choosing Post Oak Florist. read more

Incredible service and beautiful arrangements! I use Post Oak Florist for all my floral needs at home and in my business. I give them 2 stars cause the delivery girl was extremely sweet but my bouquet was dying after 2 days I took all the flowers out and realized they crammed so much in the vase that they couldn't survive I took all the fake greenery they put in there out (which I have never seen before) and cut down the bulbs that had not bloomed and the healthy flowers, I put them in fresh water and they have been alive ever since . But half of my flowers died the second day, I wish my boyfriend hadn't even wasted the money. But since he is out of town and likes to send me gifts I appreciated the thought behind it. I wouldn't recommend them, and it takes a lot for me to say that. Very very poor job read more

Please disregard any negativity associated with Post Oak Florist. They are simply the finest florists that you will find. They have provided their exquisite arrangements for a vast array of varying events at my home and community events which I have attended. They have an excellent reputation for their quality of flowers and their delivery and set up. I cannot fathom using another florist and I consistently get rave reviews on flowers sent for holidays and birthdays. Even flowers sent for condolences receive a warm thank you. When you are in need of a florist, you cannot go wrong with Post oak! read more

I went here with my mother to speak to them about being the florist for my wedding. We were viewing their designs with the owner on her apple TV and as she was looking through her iPad a picture of male genitalia appeared on the TV. She said it was a picture of her son (teenage or older I'm presuming) and she didn't know how it got there. She was stunned but never once apologized for the incident or said anything to either of us. We were disgusted and found this to be very unprofessional. We didn't use them. read more

I have always had great success with Post Oak Florist...Until this week. I needed to order flowers for my boss who was in a car wreck. She lives in the country so I was worried who would deliver to her. But I was pleasantly surprised when I googled the zip code and they were the first florist to pop up for that zip code. I was even more delighted when I entered the delivery zip code on their website and the system accepted it, when 3 previous websites had rejected the zip code for being out of delivery range. I then referred 3 other co-workers. As a courtesy, I called the florist to let them know that I and others had placed orders going to the same location, so maybe the driver could deliver them all at once. I was then told quite rudely that the address was outside of range and they blamed me for thinking that the florist would deliver that far out. I then received an email from a coworker who said she had just received a hostile call from them stating they would not deliver the flowers because it was too far. I was told they cancelled my order and I requested a refund to which I was told it had never been processed so I would not be charged. Imagine my surprise when 2 days later they charged me anyway! And disregard the review from Debra in Nov 2012, that is the store owner. I am a loyal person who would have faithfully ordered from them for years to come, but will not only never order, but will tell everyone I know. That is fine if you don't deliver, but it is unacceptable to be rude to me because you have an antiquated website that processes order to anywhere with no regard to location. read more

Incredible. Everything was Perfect! Debbie at Post Oak Florist does some really amazing work! I couldn't have asked for anything more. We worked mostly over the phone and she was able to really tie everything together. She really captured the theme and feel of the whole wedding!!! My guests talked about the flowers all night! I couldn't be more pleased with the delivery time, quality, and service at Post Oak Florist. I called the day before I needed flowers delivered for a birthday, and they arrived before noon the next day. I was sent a photo of the arrangement and it was lovely! I mentioned to the nice lady on the phone that these were for my mother who loves pink roses. I noticed that there were more pink roses in the arrangement than cream compared to the online photo. Thank you so much for this attention to detail. She is raving about her flowers, and I appreciate the outstanding customer service! read more

The PostOak Florist provided all the flower arrangements for our wedding on September 24, 2016. PostOak Florist arrived on time and started setting up the center pieces right away. From the very beginning the Staff was very knowledgeable, polite, and full of ideas to help with all the different center pieces. The Staff is very creative, the flowers for the boutonnieres were held together with rifle shells! Every arrangement was perfect in every way. Great Service! We went in to have a wedding appt with them for our wedding. We made the appointment the week before. The day we went in, they were rearranging everything within the store to have new carpet laid. Mistake #1 was not rescheduling our appt for another day after their carpet installation was complete. When we got there, the lady acted like she was rushed and really didn't have time to meet with us, but agreed to since we were already there. We sat down in a back room and tried going over what we wanted. I'm not sure if it was just a miscommunication or what, but it's like we weren't on the same page. Mind you, I am the type of person who researches things big time! Everything I researched on the type of flowers we were looking for, came within our budget. This place DOUBLED our budget! AND basically tried to steer me away of something I wanted. I wanted silks, not real. I have my reasons. I am there to get quote on what I want, not what YOU want. The last mistake that just rubbed me the wrong way was the way this woman talked to her employees. She was really snippy. I get that it was chaotic in there and high stress, but that is no excuse! You treat people the way you want to be treated. It was that moment I realized that I would not use them for my wedding. If they had been professional about it, rescheduled us for a better time, not been rude to their own employees, I would have considered spending the extra $$$ on them. I refuse to allow someone who doesn't treat their employees nicely work my wedding or for me. read more

I just had the most unbelievable experience with this company. My friend from Houston knew my grandson would be here this weekend. She ordered flowers for Friday delivery. By Saturday afternoon they still had not come (Saturday was Valentines Day, this order had nothing to do with Valentine's Day). When the delivery finally was made at 5:36 on Saturday afternoon, I told the young woman in a nice tone of voice that I was disappointed that the flowers we're not here yesterday, as my friend had ordered them for yesterday delivery. This girl went back and told the owner of the company that I was "mean" to her, and he -- Keith -- called to ask about the problem. WhenI told him the flowers were lovely but that they were due the prior day, he kept trying to read the wire order to me, telling me I was wrong. I kept trying to say that I was the recipient, not the sender, that I was quoting what my friend had texted to me, and that he should check with her, the third time I said this he said, " see, ma'am. you are not being very pleasant." OMG!!!! What is wrong with saying I'm so sorry there must have been a mixup, is there anything I can do to make this right? Instead, he wants to blame me for the mixup, call me a liar, accuse me of being mean to his employee, and thoroughly piss off this customer --NOT!! read more
