Went in and asked for flowers of "just because of 34.00" went to pick them up and older lady was very rude. Tried explaining to her I had an order, gave my order confirmation to older white lady in the front with glasses and also provided pictures of what was ordered as well with pictures of my order number. Deny deny is what the lady gave me. Than I asked for the owner the owner had glasses too and was very more profesional than the other lady. Better approach and more calm If the owner provided the service everyday I would go in but not for the other lady she was very unprofessional and rude from the beginning for no reason. Especially if elder should have more experience than me. Ended up getting the flowers anyways and I understand people have bad days but you work in customer service get your act together pretend if you have too but there are no excuses. read more

Response to the owner's comment. 1) They said I failed to tell them the nature of the situations FALSE. I did in fact tell whoever I placed the order to ensure the flowers were delivered after a certain time because she was getting engaged and I couldn't be there. Whoever took my order ensured that would be the case. 2) They said I didn't tell the husband I was sending congratulatory flowers. FALSE. I did tell him and he said that would be such a nice thing to have those waiting for her when she got back to the house 3) You said I ordered on Mother's Day. FALSE. I ordered the Saturday before Mother's Day. That's not my fault if it's their busiest time of year, they should still have their business in order, which they clearly don't if they have to make an addendum to their own policy. 4) They said they gave my money back and offered to apologetic flowers to both me and my friend. Partially true. They did give me money back after I repeatedly called them to do so. Who would want apologetic flowers after you ruined the surprise. No one. And it was either or, they first offered the flowers and I said she didn't want them and asked for a refund. It took forever for them to finally give me a refund. They have an issue with their website where if you go to review your order and want to make a change or cancel, if you don't click cancel order or accidentally leave the site, it will charge you anyways. I called and asked them about it. Their manager and employee, Joanna, were NOT very helpful (and somewhat rude). They charged me money to cancel even though the date to ship was weeks away. Being in Aggieland, I'd expect them to be understanding that their website is messed up and it was their issue. As an Aggie myself, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. My fiance and I visited Post Oak Florist today to briefly discuss flowers for our wedding. When we entered the store it seemed like there was no one working there and only customers, because no one paid us any attention. They only glanced at us briefly. After a few minutes one lady very rudely greeted us after I glanced at her. She basically asked what we were doing there and I responded that we were wondering about flowers for our wedding and she just said "you need an appointment with her". Then, another lady proceeded to give me a stack of bridal magazines, mumbled something about a wedding rehearsal and being busy then shoo-ed us out the door. Not only thing, but there was one older lady in the back room constantly staring and my fiance and I, not breaking eye-contact. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience, and if further experiences will be this way, there is no reason why they should even be in business, as customer service should be a priority. We had a sympathy arrangement sent to a service. It was a beautiful arrangement however I have experienced better quality flowers. We did request yellow instead of red roses (at no additional cost) so I don't know if maybe they are out of season and have to be shipped in? Roses were a little bruised. There were a large amount of lilies however out of the 12-13 only two were open. Everything else was good: customer service, card spelling correct and timely arrival. I give them 2 stars cause the delivery girl was extremely sweet but my bouquet was dying after 2 days I took all the flowers out and realized they crammed so much in the vase that they couldn't survive I took all the fake greenery they put in there out (which I have never seen before) and cut down the bulbs that had not bloomed and the healthy flowers, I put them in fresh water and they have been alive ever since . But half of my flowers died the second day, I wish my boyfriend hadn't even wasted the money. But since he is out of town and likes to send me gifts I appreciated the thought behind it. They have provided their exquisite arrangements for a vast array of varying events at my home and community events which I have attended. They have an excellent reputation for their quality of flowers and their delivery and set up. I went here with my mother to speak to them about being the florist for my wedding. We were viewing their designs with the owner on her apple TV and as she was looking through her iPad a picture of male genitalia appeared on the TV. She said it was a picture of her son (teenage or older I'm presuming) and she didn't know how it got there. I have always had great success with Post Oak Florist...Until this week. I needed to order flowers for my boss who was in a car wreck. She lives in the country so I was worried who would deliver to her. But I was pleasantly surprised when I googled the zip code and they were the first florist to pop up for that zip code. I was even more delighted when I entered the delivery zip code on their website and the system accepted it, when 3 previous websites had rejected the zip code for being out of delivery range. I then referred 3 other co-workers. As a courtesy, I called the florist to let them know that I and others had placed orders going to the same location, so maybe the driver could deliver them all at once. I was then told quite rudely that the address was outside of range and they blamed me for thinking that the florist would deliver that far out. I then received an email from a coworker who said she had just received a hostile call from them stating they would not deliver the flowers because it was too far. I was told they cancelled my order and I requested a refund to which I was told it had never been processed so I would not be charged. Imagine my surprise when 2 days later they charged me anyway! And disregard the review from Debra in Nov 2012, that is the store owner. I am a loyal person who would have faithfully ordered from them for years to come, but will not only never order, but will tell everyone I know. That is fine if you don't deliver, but it is unacceptable to be rude to me because you have an antiquated website that processes order to anywhere with no regard to location. read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the delivery time, quality, and service at Post Oak Florist. I called the day before I needed flowers delivered for a birthday, and they arrived before noon the next day. I was sent a photo of the arrangement and it was lovely! I mentioned to the nice lady on the phone that these were for my mother who loves pink roses. I noticed that there were more pink roses in the arrangement than cream compared to the online photo. From the very beginning the Staff was very knowledgeable, polite, and full of ideas to help with all the different center pieces. We went in to have a wedding appt with them for our wedding. We made the appointment the week before. The day we went in, they were rearranging everything within the store to have new carpet laid. Mistake #1 was not rescheduling our appt for another day after their carpet installation was complete. When we got there, the lady acted like she was rushed and really didn't have time to meet with us, but agreed to since we were already there. We sat down in a back room and tried going over what we wanted. I'm not sure if it was just a miscommunication or what, but it's like we weren't on the same page. Mind you, I am the type of person who researches things big time! Everything I researched on the type of flowers we were looking for, came within our budget. This place DOUBLED our budget! AND basically tried to steer me away of something I wanted. I wanted silks, not real. I have my reasons. I am there to get quote on what I want, not what YOU want. The last mistake that just rubbed me the wrong way was the way this woman talked to her employees. She was really snippy. I get that it was chaotic in there and high stress, but that is no excuse! You treat people the way you want to be treated. It was that moment I realized that I would not use them for my wedding. If they had been professional about it, rescheduled us for a better time, not been rude to their own employees, I would have considered spending the extra $$$ on them. I just had the most unbelievable experience with this company. My friend from Houston knew my grandson would be here this weekend. She ordered flowers for Friday delivery. By Saturday afternoon they still had not come (Saturday was Valentines Day, this order had nothing to do with Valentine's Day). When the delivery finally was made at 5:36 on Saturday afternoon, I told the young woman in a nice tone of voice that I was disappointed that the flowers we're not here yesterday, as my friend had ordered them for yesterday delivery. This girl went back and told the owner of the company that I was "mean" to her, and he -- Keith -- called to ask about the problem. WhenI told him the flowers were lovely but that they were due the prior day, he kept trying to read the wire order to me, telling me I was wrong. I kept trying to say that I was the recipient, not the sender, that I was quoting what my friend had texted to me, and that he should check with her, the third time I said this he said, " see, ma'am. you are not being very pleasant." OMG!!!! What is wrong with saying I'm so sorry there must have been a mixup, is there anything I can do to make this right?
