I made an online order for a birthday arrangement. Now, I had spoken with Alisia to share that I needed to be contacted by the shop when the flowers are delivered and I was not. The arrangement was delivered at 1, and I found them at 3:30, which prompted me to call Nita's when I found them sitting on my porch and called to express my unhappiness. Zara, the manager promptly pointed out that what I had shared with Alisia was moot as I had not made those concerns as I placed my online order, in writing prior to knowing that any requests I made was worthless. Furthermore, Zara further inferred it was my fault as they have third party delivery drivers at times but I do not know IF that was the case today, but I digress. Zara further declared that I was delivered "an exceptional arrangement" so my complaint was useless to her but it wasn't to me as Zara did not care in the slightest as she was condescending and rude!! Had she not SEEN what they deliver to their customers as a manager! I paid $149.00 for this arrangement, with a tip for the designer and delivery driver as well. And when I called Zara back to let her know that I would no longer be using Nita's as this was the second mistake they made, the first was an order that they CANCELED without any notice to me for over 24 hrs. Horrible experience with them. I paid 368 dollars for 3 orders to be delivered ON MOTHERS DAY. 1 of them showed up at 6:53 pm the second order showed up at 11:23 pm. And the last order ( the most important one) did not show up at all. Their customer service ? Trash. At 7:15 pm they said they were going to deliver the last two remaining orders and only managed to deliver the one at 11:23pm . Keep in mind all three orders are less than 10 min apart distance from each other. Never again will I call them for any service. I will be asking for my refund on the last order tomorrow morning. read more

I ordered a bouquet of tulips for my mom for Mother's Day. I live out of state, so did a quick search of florists near my mom, and selected this one. While I was shopping, a code popped up for 25% off, amazing! I was definitely ordering from them. When I went to check out, the code would not work! I messaged them on Facebook messenger, they responded promptly, told me to place my order, and they would add the discount on the back end, all I had to do was message them my order number. I ordered, and they sent me my new invoice with the discount within minutes. I am so pleased with their customer service, and will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

I was very disappointed with the arrangement that Nita's delivered for my mother's birthday. It looked nothing like the one I selected, and not like any of the ones pictured here in the glowing reviews. I understood that might not have the exact flowers, but the arrangement sent was an odd choice of colors and was not a vibrant, celebratory kind of bouquet. And the single piece of instruction, "No Lilies", due to my mother's allergies, was completely ignored. My brother sent me a photo of the arrangement and there were clearly at least two lilies visible. I will not be using this florist again! read more

I had my bridal bouquet made here and they did an awesome job! I couldn't have asked for a prettier one! I was on a budget and they worked with me to pick out flowers that matched my budget but still made a big beautiful bouquet. A little backstory, to tell you about the pickle I was in that Nita's fixed for me: A good friend lost her grandfather and his funeral was going to be in Bryan. I live in Austin, and know virtually nothing about Bryan. For some reason, I just assumed that I could get on the FTD website Sunday and order flowers for a Monday service at 11am. Well, I was definitely wrong. FTD requires six business hours for deliveries, and since the service was in the morning, FTD was out. (I should have checked on FTD's policies on Saturday; I just wasn't thinking...) So I thought, no problem. I'll call a florist in Bryan directly to place an order. (Now, by this time it's 3:00pm on Sunday and I wanted the flowers at the funeral home by 10am for the viewing. So, it turns out that florists in Bryan are not open on Sunday. At any rate, not ones that I called. I was beginning to wonder how the heck I was going to get flowers to the service. I actually considered going to Sams in Austin, buying flowers, and driving the arrangement to Bryan on Monday morning. To make a long story slightly shorter, I found out that Nita's Flowers opens at 8am instead of 9am, like the rest. I thought that an extra hour might be enough time to make the arrangement and delivery feasible. Good customer service: I called them at 8:00am on the dot, and a very friendly and helpful lady answered the phone. She was very knowledgeable about the funeral home (I just gave her the name; she already knew the address, and she looked up the time for his service on their website just to be sure.) She said there would be no problem getting the flowers there in time. I let her know what I wanted to spend ($150) and gave her carte blanche in terms of picking the flowers, since I was so late getting my order in. I told her that my friend likes purple, so if she could use some purple in there, it would be lovely. I asked her for a spray, and she suggested that I consider a table arrangement. I said that was fine, and asked her why. She said that table arrangements were usually better for cremations. As she was saying this, she was going back to the website to make sure that it was a cremation, but then realized that it was a funeral. She then corrected herself and said that a spray was better, so we went with that. Great product: I had been looking at flowers on FTD, and had seen what my dollars could buy me in terms of quantity and type of flower. I have to say, I thought that the Nita's Flowers arrangement was just as nice, if not nicer, than the arrangements on the FTD site. (My friend sent me a picture of the flowers, and said that they were beautiful.) From the photo, it looks like a much larger arrangement than the ones on the FTD site. There were flowers of several shades of purple, in addition to accent flowers of several harmonious colors. The shapes of the flowers were used creatively, to draw the eye around the arrangement. The foliage was beautiful, creating subtle contrasts of texture and shade. Overall: I was very pleased at the quality of the arrangement and the friendliness and helpfulness of the woman with whom I spoke. I'm especially grateful for their excellent service because I was at my wit's end as to what I was going to do, and it turned out to be even better than I'd imagined! read more

I've been using Nita's for years, but today they really impressed me. They've always had great flowers, great service, and timely deliveries as long as I can remember, and today was no different. Except for the fact that they delivered the wrong arrangement to my girlfriend. I called to explain the situation, how I had placed an order online, how the flowers looked nothing like the picture, and asked a few more questions. I was well taken care of. Jennifer was respectful, concerned, and very apologetic, and then insisted that they would deliver the correct arrangement at no additional cost on the date that I specified. I used Nita's for my wedding this year. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable and their service was great but they did not get the vision of what I wanted. I left photos and she took notes but they did not turn out like the photos. The arrangements were pretty...just not what I asked for. read more
