Post Street Bar was a big surprise to me. The three times I've been to Buenos Aires I always planned to go to a street art gallery called Hollywood in Cambodia, but always forgot to. So, this last time I was looking for a cool bar to drink and eat near the apartment that I rented in Palermo. Looking up online I found Post Street Bar and decided to give it a try. Getting there, I instantly realized that the bar and the gallery were in the same place!
The first floor of the bar is a big room with its walls totally covered with graffiti, stencils and stickers. I don't know why, but there was nobody in this room. When I got to the back of the house, I realized that it was where the gallery was. There were many beautiful posters, frames and colors.
As the first floor was empty, I headed to the terrace, where they were serving people. I was impressed. The place looked amazing: it's large, you can see the sky from there and check out two big walls (of the neighboring buildings) covered up with really big graffitis.
I was so amazed that I forgot that I went there to drink and eat. And it was great. They have a very good homemade pizza (which is free on Thursdays), cold beer, free popcorn - and everything is very cheap!
So, if you are tired of the fancy places of Palermo and enjoy street art and underground culture, Post Street Bar is your place! read more
