They are not attempting to deliver my packages and reporting to Amazon that they attempted to deliver my packages. Amazon offers delivery to your home, not a piece of paper in the cluster mailbox. If the post office can't deliver packages to my house then they don't need to be taking payment from Amazon to deliver packages. Laziness or stupidity or both are what you can expect from this post office. If you have other shipping options it's worth the extra cost to have a component delivery service deliver your packages.

The drop box was very small, and I had a medium size to drop off. I heard someone in the back walking around. So I went to the door and rang the bell. Unfortunately, the person kept walking around and never opened the door or even tried to make contact with me. This is a simple location, but I will not be back in the future due to a lack of personnel at the front desk willing to help.

They are willing to search all of their carriers to find you the best option. They have a small, but excellent greeting card selection that I use as my first stop for greeting card needs. This is only an issue with the mail carriers on my road and not the post office as a whole. Every…read moretime we get a new mail carrier on my road in Pettit (which is very often and I believe moved through Tahlequah PO) I hardly ever receive my big packages when delivery is attempted. They either get delivered to the wrong address, or not left at all if they are too big to fit in the mailbox. We have a gate at my driveway (which is normally closed due to other dogs and unwanted visitors entering). I have told the post office to put a note on my address to leave all packages/ boxes too big to fit in the mailbox to be left at the gate. I have instructed this multiple times and often put it on the special delivery instructions when ordering something. Well we apparently have a new carrier and once again my packages have been delivered to 2 different addresses and 1 not left at all due to "no secure location". I am unsure who to contact in order to get this fixed. Tahlequah said it's not their jurisdiction and Park Hill never answers the phone. Very frustrating.
