This is only an issue with the mail carriers on my road and not the post office as a whole. Every time we get a new mail carrier on my road in Pettit (which is very often and I believe moved through Tahlequah PO) I hardly ever receive my big packages when delivery is attempted. They either get delivered to the wrong address, or not left at all if they are too big to fit in the mailbox. We have a gate at my driveway (which is normally closed due to other dogs and unwanted visitors entering). I have told the post office to put a note on my address to leave all packages/ boxes too big to fit in the mailbox to be left at the gate. I have instructed this multiple times and often put it on the special delivery instructions when ordering something. Well we apparently have a new carrier and once again my packages have been delivered to 2 different addresses and 1 not left at all due to "no secure location". I am unsure who to contact in order to get this fixed. Tahlequah said it's not their jurisdiction and Park Hill never answers the phone. Very frustrating. read more
