I am trying to locate a letter that was identified as part of Monday's, Feb 10, this year, mail. I never received it. There was a check with a significant amount in that letter. On…read moreMonday, I get home and there is a sticker saying the UPS guy took my package to the UPS store instead of placing the package in the back of my house. On Tuesday I went to get the package like the sticker told me, and the inept person at the counter said it wasn't there. I gave them one star, because I can't go any lower than that. On Wednesday, I tried calling them at 608-782-6966, left two messages, finally got a call back in six hours later. I did receive a Yelp reply from the business, but the contact information is not accessible. I got a call from the company who sent me the package who had to do research on this, and says now, two weeks later, that it IS there. Pathetic !

I have had nothing but good small-town friendly service from the LaFarge, USPO in the 8 years that I have been shipping (all over the world) for my business. I am very grateful for the US Postal systems that allow a small business or any citizen to ship securely at reasonable rates. Ask people in Germany who's Postal system was privatized by DHL- it sucks and its twice as expensive. Ask, the people in South America or Africa how reliable their Postal services is- it is not. They are lucky to get their mail unopened or at all.
