The person blasted through the cleaning, didn't really talk to me or ask any questions. She also used the floss like she was angry at me, tearing up my gums a lot. That didn't used to be a problem in this office but has become that way again. Then she said she was going to have the dentist take a look and then I would be done. I asked about the filling that was also scheduled, and she gave me a blank look. Finally got it sorted out so that I could get the filling done too. That process took a really long time as well, partly because the area where the filling was done it was built up so high the dentist had to grind a bunch of excess off to get my bite to hit properly. A few months later that filling cracked while I was eating and created a huge mess of a few other teeth as I accidentally bit down on the broken piece before I realized what had happened. I have never had a filling crack, especially to that degree. I used to really like this office but I will never go back

I asked three times, two assistance and the dentist himself, before having a procedure done if insurance was going to cover it and was told yes, all three times. I had concerns over whether or not my procedure was medically necessary or would be considered cosmetic and was told it would be medically covered. In the end the insurance denied the claim saying that the dentist did a procedure that was more expensive than what was needed and should have offered or provided a different procedure. I was never presented a second or alternative option and I was never told one might not be covered over the other. No preauthorization was sent prior to the work being done. I argued for months and even appealed with insurance and in the end Weber dental just threw their hands up and said oh well, here's a bill for thousands of dollars. They refused to accept any responsibility and refused to help me with the cost at all. They did allow for me to make payments but it took me a very long time to pay it off.

During one appt, Dr Shau was attempting to do three fillings on three different molars, top and bottom. Halfway through the process, she told me that they needed to be root canals instead of fillings BUT she just proceeded to do the fillings. and charged me $765. Here it is 5 years later and those molars are now having to be removed due to the fillings falling out and leaving my teeth weaker. Had she just done the root canals as she said it needed, I would still have those molars intact. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The gap was filled by my family dentist when I was 16. 20+ years later it broke. Bummer.. it looks terrible. At the same time, a filling in the back from Dynamic fell out when I was eating something.. and is painful. After waiting two weeks for an appointment, primarily to fix the gap. I'm told by dentist he won't do it.... He won't use the same process and material my family dentist used 20 years ago.... Because it will break. I of course need a $Crown. Unfortunately with a new baby at home and a remodel over budget my finances are directed elsewhere. So crown isn't an option... how about fixing your customers smile temporarily? Typing this as I wait for my same day appointment at another highly rated dentist who apparently is happy to help when people are in need. For some.. this dentist may be great. There's a lot of flash. I'm sure if there's a response to this, it will be my fault in some way. Not taking care of my teeth.. etc. But that's part of being a dentist I'm sure. The primary purpose is to serve the people in your neighborhood. To only have the most expense solutions available is pretty .. f'd. And really.. I just need some fillings.
