The job took two days and in those two days we had to frequently "walk" our yard checking for HUGE NAILS, HUGE STAPLES, and even an ENTIRE ROLL OF NAILS for a pneumatic nail gun! We understand that they were still working, but during their breaks we have dogs we needed to let out to use the bathroom and these things being in our grass was a hazard to say the least. We made the workers aware of what we were finding just as a heads up that it was dangerous, and we can't have that stuff in our yard (especially at the end of the day when they pack up and leave for the night). We threw SO MANY dangerous items away- and that doesn't even include all of the other things like plastic trash, random fabric pieces, and old shingles that were left strewn across our yard... When placing some of the trash in the dumpster that was in our driveway, we noticed cans in the dumpster: Mexican Beer. Is that allowed? A professional company drinking beer while working on a roof, leaving dangerous materials in our yard!? When the roof was completed, we walked the yard yet again and felt we did a good job cleaning up THEIR MESS! Sadly, we were wrong. While outside with my dogs I was IMPALED, THROUGH MY SHOE, WITH AN INCH-LONG RUSTY NAIL! I had to pry the nail from my foot with my shoe as it had nailed my shoe to my foot. The neighbors asked over the fence if I was okay because they could hear my cries. Luckily, I was recently bit by a dog at my place of employment and had to update my tetanus shot or else I would have been on my way to the hospital. I emailed Turnkey. After getting no response, I left reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook. Once I saw that they had deleted/deactivated all reviews from Facebook, meaning they saw my review and completely ignored it, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Fortunately, I did not have work or school on the day this happened (6/25/19) as I have barely been able to walk... Even six days after the incident it is still extremely painful to put any weight on my foot. I wish I had taken a photo of all the trash, nails, staples, beer cans, etc we cleaned from our yard... Unfortunately, I only have pictures of what has been found since stepping on the nail. About a week after the roof was completed, a Turnkey employee knocked on our door and said they needed to get something from our mailbox. Confused, we questioned him. Apparently, they had mistakenly put our address down for something and stuff was being mailed to us, so we had to escort him to our neighborhood mailbox down the street. It was very strange. Gutters were ripped down during the roof install and not replaced. Instead, they left pieces just hanging off our house. All around unacceptable and unprofessional behavior displayed by a professional company.

He arrived on time, was very organized, his work area was exceptionally clean, he did all the glass cutting outside, and had it reinstalled within an hour and a half (which included removing and reinstalling the plantation shutters). He was very pleasant, and we would use him again in a heartbeat should the need arise.

A week after we closed on the house and moved in we noticed we weren't getting airflow from the A/C…read moreto our master bedroom. My wife and I were sweating through out the night. So I go in the attic and the main square duct wasn't even attached to the main line that's coming from the air handler. The round 6'' duct that's supposed to go to our room wasn't even attached to the main line and just sitting to the side. Not to mention there's no insulation around multiple 4'' - 6'' tubes that lead to rooms so they're dripping with condensation. The box that's supposed to lead to our master bedroom wasn't even connected on the air duct and sitting off to the side. This was a COMPLETE mess! Our A/C was just blowing massive amounts of cold air into the attic!! I had to use duct tape to put this whole thing together. Also the exhaust tubing from the bathroom vents were sitting in the attic, they weren't even connected to outside ventilation which is a code violation! We had a couple A/C companies come out to look at it, they said it will cost almost $1,000 to fix this disaster. I don't know how this could have been missed when the entire duct system leading to our room was complete disaster. I'm beyond furious at this point because this could of been fixed before we signed on the dotted line. My wife called Dylan Fracasse a few weeks ago, he apologized and told her that he will have a contractor come out and fix it. It has been weeks since that conversation and we have not heard from him. We've attempted to call, text, and e-mail. We just sent a certified letter, after that we are filing a formal complaint with the State of Florida if we don't hear back from Allied Home Inspections FL LLC. Even shows in the inspection report that the A/C and Heater Distribution Systems were inspected (see photo), well apparently that was a lie. This is not how I anticipated my 1st home to be for my family.

I would recommend avoiding VP Remodeling for the following reasons:…read more- They require a 50% down payment up front and they press HARD to get you to pay as soon as they are done so you don't have time to find their mistakes. - The owner is incredibly unresponsive and will not own any mistakes by the crew. - There is uneven tile throughout the house I can do nothing about. - The grouting was incomplete at many locations, just gaps between tile. - The showerhead was not secured and wobbles. - The shower worked before they got there, and did not after they finished the shower. I was only able to get them to do that because although they pressed hard to get payment right as they were leaving, I held the final payment until they came back and fixed it. They left an unpainted drywall patch in my newly installed drywall. - They broke a tile during installation and just left the pieces in the closet where they didn't expect me to see it until they were paid. - Shelves were installed in properly and wobbled, one eventually fell and replaced, had to reinstall the shelf fittings. - The drain they installed clogs up constantly so that water fills the shower, never had a problem before. Overall, it was a subpar job for a relatively cheap price. I only used them for tile, hopefully they are more apt at other services the claim to be able to provide. However, with them not offering to do a walk through and trying to get offsite and the way they pushed on getting final payment immediately after finishing (as in, still packing up their tools), I would have been left with over $1,000 in repairs on a less than $10,000 job if I had not held back the final payment. Do yourself a favor and find an honest contractor that takes pride in their work and owns up to their mistakes.
