Her package was great, she was reliable and flexible when I asked her about a possible transfer of dates due to corona. Alyssa and my videographer ran the photos well together. (Although they ran very late- but I do not fault her, the timeline could have used some adjusting-non bridal party members should get hair and make up done LAST) Her photos aren't over edited, very natural looking and won't fad out. She worked with my Pinterest photos, letting me pick a handful of them although most them weren't my favorite out of them all. One of my favorite things about working with her was the turn about time. A handful of photos within a few days of the wedding. The blog - a summary of the day (about ~150 photos) within 2 weeks. Then the full gallery within 8 weeks. And my package gave me the rights to print in whatever way. And didn't have an insane up charge like many photographers do for printing but gave me the option if I wanted her to do it. My only critiques was that my ring was very off center in the close ups of my ring, (I should have got it resized) but I wish it had been centered before photographed. And while we were doing our family photos my family noticed a bit of impatience which could have been due to the heat, masks, running behind on photos, the chaos etc. I highly recommend talking to whoever is helping run the day (coordinators, family friend, etc) to help with the flow of photos, or the first look having vow books etc. The family side of the photos could have used an extra set of hands getting the order down (this might not be the case if you included a second shooter I did not) Ex. Smith family photo Ex. Jones family etc. up next. Etc. checking off those must have photos. All in all, my experience with Alyssa was great. She captured everything perfectly. Her turn around time was great and was follow as outlined in the contract. She did a great job of getting all the shots in of the day. Best family photographer in Portland area…read more Kay has been our family photographer for a while now, and I can't see myself going to anyone else. I was a wedding videographer, so I'm picky at finding a good photographer for my family, especially one that works well with kids. The whole process of booking is quick and easy. If you have Instagram, you're able to view her work on her profile and reach out to her through a link provided in her bio. Sometimes, she'll offer some sessions for folks to book, like mini sessions (15 min) and engagement shoots or family shoots. Otherwise, you'll select the type of shoot you want, answer a quick survey of questions (I.e indoors or outdoors), and put down a deposit. Payment is done online so everything is smooth. I highly recommend the mini family shoots if you have young kids. They're 15 minutes long, affordable, and so much fun to do! Kay is SO good with kids. My daughter is very camera shy and usually only lets me snap a photo of her here and there (if I'm lucky), but with Kay, she is completely herself because Kay makes it fun and engaging. Kay is also a mom of 4 young kids :) I was so happy to book our maternity photoshoot with Kay too. I was worried about the timing because our photoshoot would be around the time she gets induced, but she took us and returned our photos in less than a week in addition to 5 or more other clients' sessions before she was due. I wasn't expecting her to go above and beyond like this, and I sincerely wanted to reassure her we could wait longer for our photos to come back. She is absolutely amazing and talented! She's also doing our newborn photos. What you can expect with Kay is a fun photoshoot that is absolutely worth it. She's professional, friendly, and makes you feel comfortable being in front of the camera. She captured my daughter's personality so well. She takes hundreds of photos during your session and returns hundreds back to you via online gallery. Other photographers charge a pretty penny and give you only 10 or so photos back. We're always impressed with Kay and her work. Support her and her family. You will not be disappointed!

I love A to Z party rental they are always super nice. but today was a rough one for me. I'm…read moredisabled have a ton of nerve problems and swelling problems as well as back and balance issues. I called ahead and told them I would be bringing back 100 chairs and 13, 8 foot tables and asked if they had people to unload and she said yes. I got there. and there was one guy and he had a cast on one arm. I told him there's a couple girls inside to have one help he said no their office girls. and the guys are on delivery. so he got in the U-Haul and slid the tables as I unloaded and stacked them against the wall and stacked the chairs on carts. I called and talked to a manager. I hate doing that but at that point I'm exhausted I smashed my finger, my back is on fire and I'm physically drained had I'd known I would have brought help. but all the manager said is he would have a chat with him. and sorry. I'm just in so much pain from those tables they are a good 20 lbs it feels like solid 8 foot tables. just wish I didn't have to unload all that I definitely won't be able to sleep tonight.

When we called, they told us they thought we had cancelled. We had email verification from "Lindy" as recently as the day before the event, confirming details. I was told that all their trucks were already on the road and that there was nothing they could do. To say we were left in a bind is putting it mildly. Save yourself some stress: Go with someone else. You don't want to be left high and dry two hours before your event with no solution in sight.

I had a very specific image I was going for and with their excellent selection and helpful staff (Lindy) it all worked out very well. Pricing was competitive and the overall experience was smooth. I also really like that they have nice white chairs that are more curved and fancy in the back. They looked fantastic and were actually REALLY comfortable. Much more attractive than other chairs we had looked at. On our wedding day (MID JULY!) it was raining and so we had to last minute order a tent for the table area. All Star was SO helpful and kept me from having a melt down. I'd highly recommend All Star for any rental needs.
