I walked into the Office Depot at 3035 N. Rock Road, Wichita, over the weekend. I wanted to try out…read morea couple of Desk Office Chairs that I had seen on their web page. The staff greeted me when I walked in, but left me alone to sit in a few chairs for a little stretch. I quickly narrowed down to the one I wanted, but it wasn't on sale. I noted that two others were at least 20% off, on sale. So, I walked up to the front of the store, with the item tag for the chair I wanted. I talked to Dominique at the cash register. She was friendly, and had a nice smile. I told her I wanted to buy a chair, but not at full price. Asked if the one I wanted would be on sale soon. She checked, and I mentioned that I'd like to find it 20% off, like the other two. After checking inventory, she told me she could apply a 20% coupon discount to the price! I was definitely pleased with the service I received, and appreciated the way that Dominique got the sale from me, and I got the discount price I wanted. While she was ringing me out, she had another employee bring my boxed chair to the entry, and he placed it in my vehicle for me. I easily put the chair together, at home that night. Took less than half an hour. I'm sitting in it now, pretty pleased! Thanks!

I chose this local business hoping to support small, community-based services--but this experience…read morehas been extremely disappointing. I entrusted Moler's Audio Visual with irreplaceable vintage and antique photos and slides to copy. I was told it would take about two weeks which was reasonable. Today was SIX weeks, no reprints, so I went to pick up my originals to take them somewhere else and not even a basic apology for the delay. There was zero communication throughout the process and no timeline updates even after I called at the THREE week mark. These items are of deep personal value, and the lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before trusting this business with anything important.

After 3 different visits trying to get the new glasses right I finally asked to see Dr. Toon again - and although her receptionist Scott started out pleasant enough he quickly became extremely rude and told me I was "out of my mind"! When I asked him to just let the Doctor know that I wasn't satisfied he proceeded to tell me that he was married to the doctor and could therefor speak for her.... I would suggest that Dr. Toon should hire a more professional receptionist and one with better people skills. The manager of the store tried to be helpful but ultimately it was just a very frustrating experience.

Looked at receipt - charged full-price on sale item. Went back in. Checkout person had changed to the unfriendly lady from the popcorn. First we got another check out person, then a man came in to "help" us but he walked out the door?? Next a manager came up and asked where the man helping us went - and I told him he walked out the door - maybe quit? Ha. Then that popcorn girl started our refund request on coffee that was marked $13.99 but rang up $15.99. The manager returned and I walked over to show the sign and sale. He looked and said the sale was over . I said the sign was up and it says $13.99 (in huge numbers). Nope. He reaffirmed it was $15.99 though the sign said $13.99. He was not friendly. No apology for the sign being up etc. So I asked for a return/refund. Back to the unfriendly pop corn lady. Meanwhile, this whole time, the man in line behind me stood waiting. HIs order was originally run up in the middle of mine. This is not the first time we have tried this store and not the 3rd time it ruined my day. Except for the young man who was sweet (who left - removed tray in cash register to change out for the popcorn lady) - the rest were all unfriendly/rude. A Friendly Atwoods is Derby.
