I've only been to this location twice. The first time was HORRIBLE. We waited for over 2hrs AFTER our scheduled time and the staff seemed to rush the session and was not compassionate about the long wait. Then the printer went down and I had to wait till after the holidays to give out photos which was saddening. I was told the manger drove to Ohio yo get the photos printed. This is the only location here and really wanted to go back because I've been a customer to this company for 7yrs going back to when I was living in Michigan and I had my first child. I gave them a second chance and it was worth it. Adam and Elizabeth was AMAZING! And when we noticed Adam forgot to shoot a pose of my oldest and youngest they shot it and gave it to me. I really appreciate their positive attitudes and the care and time they took. They definitely gave me a much better experience. read more

My appointment was at 5:45 when arrived it was over 20 people waiting to take pictures and be seen by photographer very disappointed if I would have know it would be like this I would have booked someplace else and had a dog taking pictures and my child broke out while waiting read more

I have a love/ hate relationship here. I love being able to get my pictures the same day. However, they seem to always be packed on the weekends. I even had a late appointment on a Sunday and still had to wait 20 or minutes before they got to us. They change out their backgrounds with the seasons/ holidays. They usually run a coupon special on one pose. I really wish they would offer a 1-2 pose package and the cd of all your pics for a price. The images need to be hi res so you can actually print them. They don't keep any history of your pics so if you want to but there you're out of luck. They do give you an online acct so you can share on facebook. It may be time for a second location so it's not always so packed! read more

It's been YEARS and I'm still ticked at this place for ruining my chances of getting my daughter's newborn pictures taken. Seeing they have terrible reviews shows they haven't changed a bit. I scheduled an appt with them with my NEWBORN daughter and called to say I was down the road and would be like 2 minutes late. They said I would lose my appt slot but that they had another one like 15 minutes later. I get there and discover that even if I had been on time, I still had a couple of families BEFORE ME? So they were allowed to not be ready but I couldn't be 2 minutes late. This meant my appt later was still going to have 1/2-1 hour wait time. IT'S A NEWBORN. I chose a place to schedule because she shouldn't be around a bunch of people at just a few days old. I had had a c-section and wasn't even supposed to be out running around. Awful and inconsiderate. Because of my surgery, my husband's schedule and other things, I never did get her the newborn pics I wanted. I will forever hate this place. read more

We had pictures taken Friday. My granddaughter's one year pics. The machine broke while printing them. Was supposed to get a call later in the day to pick them up. Found out today that the machine was fixed but our pics were not printed and now it's broke again and we are at the bottom of the stack. I'm very upset about this. I spent a little over $200 Friday and will spend that much or more in two weeks when we go back for a large family picture (if we go back). We never got a call, the person I finally got a hold of today could not even find our order, and offered no apology or even a return call to me. I only know what happened because my daughter called. Very poor customer service. At the very least we should get a discount or something. I spend hundreds of dollars every year at P I (8 kids, 6 grandkids=lots of pictures every year) and this is really bad service. We spend sometimes well over an hour waiting our turn , spend anywhere from $100 to $200+ And can't even get a callback regarding our pictures. read more

Today we were banned from Portrait Innovations after waiting over an hour and half (after the time of our appointment) to get our Christmas pictures made. This is the 6th year we have done this and have never received such terrible service. They were going to "comp" an extra mug for our wait but then wanted to charge us the shipping for it. After telling the assistant manager he needed to talk to the manager to give us the price of the package without that shipping we were informed our package would be free but we were not welcome back. We have spent a lot of money at Portrait Innovations over the years and will never go back. read more

Awful. Just awful. The customer service is horrible, the posing is akward and dark. They are constantly too busy to really help or listen to you. It's a subpar experience. Save your money and go with a professional photog who will listen to you and will probably give you more bang for your photo buck. read more

We have been twice for photos of our new baby girl. The first trip started off bad with a 30 minute wait, even though we had an appointment and showed up just a few minutes prior to our scheduled appointment time. But... the photographer was great with our baby and the photos turned out nice. On the second trip we made an appointment again and this time decided to show up about 15 minutes early to go ahead and get signed in. 45 minutes later we asked where we were in line and were told that there were still 4 families in front of us. We left and scheduled an appointment at JCPenney for the next day where we were able to get right in at our appointment time. We have a 9 month old baby and we scheduled these photos around her nap times so that she wouldn't be fussy and would be happy and smile for her photos. There is no sense in paying $$ for a bunch of pictures of a crying baby. Why do they even take appointments if they don't stick to the schedule. I can see going over a little here and there but if we would have stayed we would have been at least 2 hours past our appointment time. We won't be going back. read more
