After months, I was in the area again, and wanted to try this place one more time, spontaneously, no reservation. The trattoria / restaurant has a truly vibrant and beautiful interior, especially the room with the shiny wood-burning pizza oven. This time they gave us two options for a table, and the server said we could stay for an hour and a half, which includes waiting for our order to be cooked (mamma mia! zielona pietruszka!). I chose a seat with a beautiful view of my sister against the wine wall:). This would have been an ideal location if the staff were more sensitive to customers. Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery. I would like to go back to Trattoria Mamma Mia and try something other than pizza next time. Making a reservation is a good idea. Let's not forget this.

It was a business drink, so we were forced to take it. Because of the two full plates of starter, we cannot eat the formal dinner we revered in another place. It was impossible to resist. As in the US, the focus of Domino's here is home delivery. The shop isn't really a place you want to dine in. It's uncomfortably warm inside and there're seating only for a few people. There isn't even a bathroom. I ordered the large "American Hot". It arrived after 20 minutes or so--not bad considering the steady stream of orders they were getting. An immediate sign that they didn't adjust their recipes for local taste was the amount of jalapenos on top. The level of spiciness was way more than what an average resident of Poland can handle. The pizza also didn't come with ketchup. Instead, you can a package of garlic sauce for dipping the end crust in. It tasted really good, much better than the offerings of typical Polish pizzerias. The pricing here is seriously whacked though. Without the discount my pizza would have been 38 zł. For the same amount of money one can get a pizza twice as big at Piccolo. Unless I spy a good deal at the website I don't think I'll order here. Domino's is famous for their slick IT operation. Ordering online should be pretty easy. They also have apps available for Android and iPhone. They have three shops in Krakow. They should be able to quickly reach any address in the city.

Upon entrance, we were promptly seated by a very friendly waitress. Pizzas come in two sizes- large and humongous. We opted for large which was the correct option. Humongous would feed the entire developing world. After much deliberation, and an almost knock-down fight between myself and my dining companion, we finally settled on the Margherita with sun-dried tomatoes, Italian sausage and shaved parmesan.
