Both companies had been recommended by other contractors. So this time I decided to ask our local BM paint store for a recommendation, and both the store manager and the interior designer (who just happened to be there that day) both independently gave me this company's name. I can tell you there is no question I will use this company again. Not only is their work excellent, the owner Miguel is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Even the woman installing the wallpaper in our dining room, that used to be a pro painter, commented on what an excellent job they did (both painting and woodwork re-staining) and how humble they are. No shortcuts, on time, great communication, and Miguel is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Robert Alcorta is a customer service pro and that goes a long way in the residential contractor…read morerealm. From the initial contact (randomly, via Yelp and based on reviews) to the very end of our job, Robert was available to connect whenever we needed to check in about any details and he always had the right options for our budget and our schedule. I would definitely recommend Arrowhead Painting for anyone looking for an interior painting service. We bought a house and needed the color changed from "realtor taupe" to something a bit more... airy. Robert showed up on time for the estimate appointment and we walked through the options available with his company. He was even willing to break down the bid into various components, so that we could decide if we wanted to do only portions of the work at the present. His bid was competitive but it was his initial customer service that really sealed the deal for us, when comparing with other bids. We ultimately chose Arrowhead Painting to do our main floor walls (open floor plan with an accent wall) as well as our stairway and upstairs hall. Not having to get on a ladder to get the upper reaches of the stairway walls was worth the price alone! We opted not to do the trim at this time, in order to save time and money. And we took on the task of painting the bedrooms ourselves. Robert was able to schedule our job on a very short timeline from when we accepted the bid to when we began the work. We wanted to get the painting done before we moved in. During this time, he was available for communication and worked to find a member of his team to get the job done for us. Right when we needed, painter Adrian was able to come out and do the prep work in an afternoon and then return to do most of the painting the next day. He finished up by mid-day on the third day. Adrian was friendly and conversational and his work was great! He made sure to do all the little things--nooks and crannies, above the cabinets, and all the edges were so clean! Speaking of clean, he left our unmoved-into home looking like no one had been there, it was so clean after his work was done. When it came time to do the walkthrough, he was willing to work with our hectic moving schedule and came back a few hours later. We of course looked all over for any needed touchups, but we needed none. Thank you to Adrian for a wonderful painting experience!

So this review isn't about the finish product, it's more about the estimate experience! During the estimate process, Robert has been excellent from the initial estimate to following up with emails. We had a few companies either didn't bother to follow up with emails/texts, or simply disappear after the initial estimates. Robert was always available for questions and I really appreciate that! Overall, I'd recommend Arrowhead if you are looking for estimate or paint project because of their reliability and responsiveness!

We felt the most trust in him and his experience out of the bunch. Beyond that, the quality of work and communication was top notch. After replacing the siding, some trim, and a few areas of rot, he brought in a paint crew the next day and knocked out the full paint job in just a couple of days. We have some pretty mature plants around the home and he took great care not to damage them. I will most definitely hire he and his guys again. They rocked it out. When weather permitted the painting to start, they started and finished everything within four days. He was very professional and detail oriented. They removed or protected all of the little fixtures around the house--things we hadn't even thought about. Teo patched up some places where the wood siding was peeling, using a special primer to help the wood hold together better. Truly full service. He was also very flexible and accommodating with our needs. Here's one example: there was one part of the trim that we weren't sure if we should paint it the trim color or the house color. We were feeling indecisive but Teo was patient as we thought it through, and he even sent us photos of the progress while we were at work so we could better visualize it and make a more informed decision. He also shared his opinion when we asked for it, which helped us feel more confident in our choices (it's a big deal to redo the whole look of your house!). I'm so glad we accepted his recommendations--they ended up looking great! On top of the excellent painting job, Teo really went above and beyond our expectations. For example, the wood trim at the base of our garage door had rotted away over the years. He pointed this out and explained that prior to painting it, he would cut out the crumbling parts and replace the bottom sections with fresh pieces of wood. The results were beautiful! And on top of that, he voluntarily fixed two separate pre-existing issues with our front door so that it would close and latch better. He didn't have to do that, he just did it out of the generosity of his spirit when my wife mentioned the trouble we were having. Amazing ethics. We were very impressed. If I could give him ten stars, I would! We are so happy with the beautiful new book of our home! (See photos of before, during prep, and after!) We highly recommend hiring him.

We had a lot of wall damage from previous owners ripping out closet shelving. They fixed that and also replaced some missing trim and drywall patching in addition to painting. Kevin said they could even fill in the doggie door we had. So their services go beyond just paint! I'm a very detailed person and there were no mistakes by Kevin's crew. Cezar and Liam were our lead painters and they were very professional. Liam always answered the phone when I called or texted him. I also appreciate their detailed website - I learned a lot about their services and steps to quality work. We were surprised how much work goes into painting doors and were not sure if we wanted to spend the money to paint all the doors. We went ahead and did it. My first thought was WOW, it looks like we bought brand new doors! My one tip is to spend a lot of time researching your paint and trim colors, view them in daylight and with the lighting in the room. Paint samples are expensive, but repainting the whole room if you don't like it would be awful! I picked up about 20 paint samples before coming to my choices. Bathroom pic is SW Rainwashed with daylight light bulbs. I had them paint the ceiling the same color as the walls and I absolutely love that decision, so something to consider.
