The Seafield Post Office is located within the Somerfield shop on Seafield Road. They have a large…read moreselection of posting materials(posting tubes, padded bags, bubble wrap etc) and the staff are all very helpful and chatty. It's quite small, with the main part of the shop being the Somerfield however, the staff are very quick at serving customers and there is rarely a queue. When the post offive is closed, you can still buy posting materials, cards etc from the Somerfield checkouts which is hands if you are buying in advance of posting.

The Croy Shop is just a wee village shop owned by one of the residents of Croy. They stock local…read morefresh food from local farms. For example they have free range eggs from a local farm, locally produced milk and cheese, homebaked cakes. They also sell standard fare such as bread, magazines, cigarettes, alcohol, greetings cards, wood/kindling also. The staff are very friendly and the shop is open 7am-7pm mon to fri/sat with shorter hours on sunday.

The selection of cards for all occasions has improved, and there is an ok selection of things such as bubble wrap and other things for posting parcels. The staff behind the counter are generaly pleasant and are mostly helpful. On a Saturday, I'd recommend going in early as it's always busy and towards closing time the queue can get so long that it's out of the door as it is not a very big shop. It's not much fun standing in the rain while you wait. There is a postbox right outside which is convenient.
