Everyone said I was getting ripped off, so I reached out to some other companies for second/third opinions, including Ethan @ Roofers LLC. Not only did he identify the issue causing the leak, but he fixed it AT NO CHARGE. Do yourself a favor and forget about Guy Roofing. Roofers LLC may not be as "famous", but they sure as hell take better care of their customers!

Our contact was Trey Cushwa and he followed up on every issue we noted. He made himself available before, during and after the process. I also interacted with Albert and he was excellent as well. The process took 1 day and they were very respectful of their surroundings. I would use them again for other work based on our experience with the roof.

People tend to love or hate roofers. I was kind of neutral about this firm. I called to ask for an…read moreinspection of my 10 year old roof and Ronald Brooks was out the next business day. Impressive. He got up on the roof and walked around a bit and then came down to let me know everything looked fine with just normal wear and tear. However, he missed a few things that another roofer found later and just fixed for free. Okay, good and also not so good. So, bottom line, at least they didn't try to sell me on a complete roof replacement like some unscrupulous roofers that also came out, but they were not as fully thorough as might be hoped for. So overall, just a "meh" experience.

So, they told me I needed repairs to my 10 year old roof while two other roofers inspected it and…read moreassured me it was still fine with just normal wear and tear (no storm damage from the hurricane). Ryan advised me that he saw enough hail damage to file an insurance claim for total replacement ($14,000) but that if it was denied, he could fix a bunch of "trouble spots" for about $2500. Hmmm! In addition, I grew suspect because they appear so new that they don't show up on Google with an office location and NO Google reviews. Just a website. Their only Yelp review is from someone in California who is probably a "hired' review (how would a Californian know about a SC roofer). Also a little suspicious. Bottom line - you probably want to go with someone else.
