The food was very good as well as the service. I had the burger and my friend had the Reuben. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

Love the cook singing at full volume as we ate our burgers! Probably why the burgers were so friggin delicious. I've had a lot of Black & Blue burgers... this one is hands down the best one. Great fries too. Awesome beer selection. Good service. For a very remote little restaurant, I'm very impressed.

It is my birthday today. My wife brought me to an Air bnb here as a surprise for my birthday. Basically, she took us to the middle of nowhere. This restaurant was the closest and only thing right here. There was another one 6ish miles away. They both seem to have the exact same food so we stayed with what was close. We had an early lunch from here and then dinner. The early lunch was a double burger with cheddar and sweet potato fries. It had a good amount of tomato and lettuce. It was awesome! 5 stars. Tasty and the young woman who was there was great. Dinner was not as good. Maybe 3 stars. Grilled chicken sandwich and salad with very little flavor. Almost no lettuce and half a tomato on the sandwich. Cobbler was decent and ice cream was great. Overall not bad for a small town place.

Honestly the best things that came out of the was the guacamole bacon burger. Everything that came from there was pretty bland. Would not come back unless I'm craving a good guacamole bacon burger

Grilled cheese sandwich with French fries (bread still Has a crisp to it) yum

We were seated right away on the patio, which was a great start. Our waitress was very attentive, and the service stayed consistent the entire time. The food was chef's kiss. The rice was excellent, and the fajita platter my husband and I shared was flavorful and more than enough. The margaritas were on point too. We ordered the huge Cadillac margarita and it did not disappoint. This will definitely be our go-to spot every time we're in Willcox for the wine festival!

We were joined by hundreds of house flies all around us. The little table propellers designed to keep flies away helped to a degree, but treating the fly problem would have been a better solution. Why are attracted to food, so perhaps a cleaner patio? I had the burrito bowl. I have never had drier chicken in all my life. An absolute disappointment. Our bill came out to just under $80 for two people. That's absolutely ridiculous considering what we got for it.

Loyd & Custie Mauzy opened the Cafe after they purchased The Rodeo Grocery on the 70's. Years later, Nancy & Bill (deceased) Cloudt purchased from my family and continue to run the Cafe located inside the grocery to this day. You can always expect great food, great conversation, and interaction with locals. Yes, the farms and ranches have, for the most part, left the area. The history still lives in this quaint little town just inside the border of New Mexico. Just ask. Folks will share many stories of the area from Geronimo to John McAfee. Located south of I-10 on State HWY 80. Visit the great Chiricahua Mountains as well. See the area meet the people.

I agree with John E - "If you're on 80 between Douglas and Lordsburg, stop here!"…read more ... but with a few minor service and food quality tweaks, I think the heading could change to: "If you're on I-10, the 20 mile detour to the Rodeo Cafe is worth it" or "If you're in Douglas, make the journey up 80 for a change" I stopped in for Breakfast, early at opening, the crew let me in early, and was instantly attentive with some hot coffee as if I was a local. The breakfast menu looks phenomenal and I couldn't wait to try the Huevos Rancheros. However, unfortunately on my visit, they were out of their enchilada sauce, so I went with the #5 pancake breakfast (large). It was near perfect. Two pancakes of solid portion, fluffy and thick; yet substantive and able to take the butter and table syrup perfectly. Bacon was perfectly cooked - crisp, not with a small bit of chew, and the ham sizable and nicely cooked. Eggs over medium - again perfectly cooked with toast crips and not dry. A few minor tweaks could move this from a place you stop by if you're in the area, to a place you come to the area to stop for. Table Syrup - Mrs. Butterworths? I'd suggest you consider finding a small purchase of 1.5oz single-serve jars of pure maple syrup. If I was offered that for an extra $4 for the quality of pancakes, I would do so immediately. Coffee -- Folgers is good; but you could easily buy a small coffee grinder, and some fresh beans. Put that through the coffee pot, and the experience could be elevated yet again. Anytime I am at Rusty's RV Ranch in the future, I will be returning here for breakfast again, and again.

Instead of our intended stop for lunch in Deming we thought we'd stop here, located in the former Kranberrys location. It was very busy on a Thursday at 1 packed with lots of locals and a few of us transient travelers... good sign! Service was a bit slow but very friendly and it was clear they were maybe a bit short on floor staff so being patient was not a problem. Portions were hearty and the food was really great... particularly if you are a fan of the New Mexico style Mexican food and love Hatch green/red chiles. My husbanded LOVED his Huevos Rancheros (he is always super critical), the red salsa was gold standard and my Chilaquilas were prepared exactly how I love them. The place is clean, family owned and operated and we will definitely stop back in! Side note- some reviews complain about the tacos... it is an actual thing for ground beef tacos to be deep fried using a hamburger patty... can't recall what they are traditionally called but that will be my next order as I am a fan.

Between 2023 and 2025 Ramona's moved from it's cozy previous location to the former Cranberry's Chatterbox. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Ramona and crew were filling up the former Kranberry's pretty well. One of our lunch choices is a Club Sandwich and salad. We ordered those here. They were just fine. Plus immense servings of iced tea. And...apple pie ala mode. It was all good. I always investigate the small town locations selling local arts and crafts. Ramona's has a corner for that. Quite a bit was sold out. I remember earrings. I do not buy earrings for the many discening women in my life. It is safer for me that way. We did find a large-print Paper! Road Atlas. Our swift journey from Phoenix to Las Cruces relit my fires of wanderlust. My fantasies of camping in remote, beautiful places. An ideaI could draw an arc from Las Cruces to L.A., exploring only that region on short, overnight journeys. Thst atlas was a wonderful tool forcstriking that arc, then carrying it onto state map pages. What a lovely flight of hopefulness, wistfulness and longing. Ramona's could do all that for you. They will fill ypu up with reasonable, sit-down cafe food, let you graze the local hand-mades, find a fun atlas, then send ypu down the road with your fantasies afire. Was it thecservice? the sandwich? the salad, pie or tea? No, I think it was just me. I enjoyed our time here.
