Museum is located on the second floor of the General Store. Lots of artifacts of shells, crabs, and sea creatures. It is free and they accept donations. A nice quick stop that took the kids and I about 30 minutes to go through. Note: we only did the second floor, not the logging section which has a separate entrance.

This is a great place to visit. Lots of really neat displays with a gift shop downstairs.

Fun little old time store and seashell museum. No fee for the museum, donations accepted. One of our very favorite stops in PG!

This is a great museum that will give you an idea of what life was like during the pioneer days of logging and shipping in a mill town on Puget Sound.

A definite must stop is the General Store. It is huge inside with a cafe, museum, restrooms, ATM and tons of gifts. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around this town. We had lunch at Butcher & Baker Provisions, and it was excellent. Their cakes and cheesecakes are delicious! Highly recommend stopping here while in the area.

I was in! Upon arriving, seeing the beautiful old houses, a cute authentic general store, and amazing views of the sound, I couldn't wait to explore it further. Plenty of parking, I headed down to check out the beach, on the way seeing that during the summer season, there are kayak rentals (another reason to return) what made the beach interesting, besides a ton of seashells, was that it was adjacent to where the town in the old days had their dump and landfill, so over time, the old glass was finding its way onto the beach, Cool stuff! A little bit like the glass beach near Fort Bragg, Cali. Definitely enjoyed walking through the town, appreciating the buildings and houses and history. They have guest houses for rent, there was a wedding going on, so that's another venue available, lots of gift and art shops and a cute Tap House I'll review as well. A fun historical place with great views of the Sound to add to adventures in the area. God bless and Cheers!

Pros: -helpful staff around to help take photos or answer questions -parking garage close by -plenty of tickets available -kid friendly with step stools to stand on Cons: -very expensive -mostly illusions using mirrors, so it's the same type of exhibit every time (looks like there's five of you in a room, looks like four of you sitting down, looks like a lot of you down a hallway) -doesn't last long

Luckily they had tickets available for purchase online on a Valentine's Day Saturday! Initially I thought we can go through b/c we had bought tickets already, but there was a crazy line to enter, even for people who already bought tickets. The lines didn't stop there though, there were also lines to see the exhibits and take photos. I think typically I would have been fine waiting, but with a little one and stroller, it was tough navigating crowds and having to wait and experience an exhibit for a minute. I will say that I did appreciate that there were some Valentine's Day themed exhibits/merch, as well as some cool photo ops that gave off different illusions, but it was all up pretty quickly... Overall, I'm not sure it was worth the $35-40/pp charge, but probably my fault for wanting to visit on a Valentine's Day night with a toddler...

It's also quite peaceful and just a great place to chill out. The beach is pebbly but it's still beautiful. In fact it may be even more beautiful because it is pebbly. I don't know if it's still there but there was a structure made out of wood probably a few beach combers made and it was cool to take a peek inside there too. Anyway I love Puget Sound and have seen it from all kinds of different angles but I think this spot is one of my favorites if not my favorite at the top of the list. The lighthouse is cute, a nice white painted building with red roof. Not terribly tall or towery like some lighthouses but beautifully maintained regardless. Definitely a stop to make if you enjoy lighthouses and absorbing the water and nature of Puget Sound.

It marks the hazardous Point No Point shoal and north entrance to Puget Sound. There is a nice size beach across from the parking lot. The lighthouse grounds were gorgeous this time of year with all the red hot poker plants in bloom along the rock wall, from the beach all the way down to the lighthouse. There were quite a few driftwood art pieces along the path up to the lighthouse, including a bench, ball, giraffe, dolphin, seal, whale and horse. Overall we enjoyed the time we spent here...so beautiful and picturesque. Would definitely recommend.

Point No Point Lighthouse & Park - I edited and filtered this photo for a sort of analog/retro look. At least that's what I think of it while approaching the lighthouse.
