House with high vaulted ceilings and the walls and ceilings come together at different angles, so we wanted someone that could handle the more complex nature of our home and still do a quality paint job. Debbie handled the job just fine, she's a very professional and high quality painter. She took care to cover everything and we saw no spatter marks anywhere. Her up front pricing was very competitive and straight forward, leaving me no guess work between the quote and time the work was completed on what the final price would be. I strongly recommend Debbie's Painting.

Mr. Sandman brought us a dream... hardwood floor!…read more My wife and I recently purchased a home which was in need of new flooring. Our deep desire was to replace the old carpet/laminate/etc. with real hardwood. We wanted a classic look. We contacted Mr. Sandman (Josh) based on a recommendation and were not disappointed! The recommendation to call Josh came from a flooring outlet shop in town (UFO Flooring on Velp). When one professional confidently recommends another - that's usually a good sign. From the start, Josh was great to work with. He met us at our home and took the time to walk through it, understand what we were looking for, and answer all the questions we had. He explained the pros/cons of different materials, talked about installation methods, and offered suggestions to help us stay within our budget. He really cared that we were happy not just with the finished product, but also with the experience of working together. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the little things, his attention to detail and the fact that he takes such pride in his work. I could stop now and it would still be a good review. However, the thing that really put Josh over the top was his customer service. When picking a contractor, sometimes you're lucky just to get someone who does good work OR is friendly to work with - Josh exceled in both areas. He's one of the nicest and friendliest guys you'll ever meet. The best way I can describe it is - if you're throwing a neighborhood BBQ - you're absolutely inviting Josh to stop by! He and his crew did great work, and I'm sure it will last a long time. But when the day finally comes to have it refinished - there's no one else we would call!

The end result brought us tears of joy (literally) - the only downfall being that we miss seeing and chatting with Joe and his son John, now that the project is over. We had interviewed and gotten estimates from two other companies, and Joe stood out from the beginning. Would 100% recommend. You can't go wrong hiring Joe and Son Hardwood Flooring.
