My friend had a gyro combo (sub, French fries and a soda) and I had a medium antipasto salad, garlic cheese bread and a soda. My friend finished every bite of her gyro and French fries, so she must have loved the food! I wish I had gotten a to-go container to put most of the salad into because the medium is enough for at least 3 people! I really enjoyed it - they use more veggies than other places do, which I loved. The garlic cheese bread was also HUGE, so I took more than half of it home. They serve it with a marinara sauce for dipping. It was very good. The restaurant is tucked away in a small strip mall in South Chula Vista/Otay Mesa. It's definitely worth trying out. read more

The family and I dined in at Pop's Pizza, we ordered a pop's special, which was pizza and lemon pepper wings, lasagna, spaghetti, Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak pizza. We all loved the food. The wings had really good flavor and were crispy. Pizzas were very good and my granddaughter loved her spaghetti. Please provide refunds for orders that you make mistakes on. I recently ordered a small stuffed crust pizza and received the pizza without the stuffed crust. I called to ask for a refund because you are charging an additional $5 for the add-on. Your solution was to make me spend more at your establishment in order to get a "free" stuffed crust add-on for a future order. It does not make sense that you're making a customer spend more for your mistake in order to get the free stuff crust add-on. Offer a refund for your mistakes. I actually really like their pizza. The wings have been questionable. I always ask for "extra crispy" wings, but they never come that way. They bake their wings and they come soggy. Honestly, the food is just okay. It's not horrible, but it isn't great either. I honestly hoped for better. This is the third establishment that's been in this location, and it's just gotten a little worse with each new shop. The crust doesn't have much flavor, and it's definitely not worth it to upgrade to stuffed. I also ordered a pepperoni/sausage pizza that was impossible to eat as such. The sausage was just lying on top as if it was forgotten and then added after the pizza was baked, and it all fell off the second you picked up a slice. The people in the shop were very nice, and the service and ambiance was good, so I'm hoping these are just kinks that they'll eventually work out.
