Everything here is great. Food is great, service is great, price is great. Highly recommend

Friendly service and lots of variety. They are very accomodating for those of us with particular health needs. Lots of veggies.

Great food and service ! Highly recommend the fried chicken! Mac n cheese was real cheesy!

Best catfish east of Arlington Texas. Kindest, most polite people (well it is east Texas). Tasty veggies! read more

Sweet people behind the counter. Nice alternative to fast food. Thus is not home cooking unless your mother just opened cans of greens and never seasoned them. Or cans of corn without butter, or cans of gravy rather than making it. But having said rhat...if you KNOW that's what you're going to get instead of a cardboard hamburger from McDonald's it's good. Just not diner good or momma home cooking good. read more

Always great food here!! I had the ribs today they were the best !! The people are always nice and give top service ! Comfortable down home atmosphere . Definitley a go to place some much variety and great value . read more

I'm so glad my husband found this place! We stopped in Lindale on our way through on a long road trip, and this place was just what we needed. Good food, friendly people. The food was good ole home cooking-type food: broiled chicken, fried fish, hamburger steak, chicken spaghetti, fried okra, turnip greens, cabbage, mac 'n cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread and bread rolls...all delicious and affordable! read more

Home cooking. Soul food rules. Love the meat loaf. Nice staff. Generous portions. Peach cobbler was great.

Reasonable prices, food is good. Love that seniors are discounted on dinner plates convenient for the community.

Get chicken here often. A bit salty but it's fried chicken. I only do carry out here. Prices are good. Service is fast.

Ambiance, below par. service is acceptable, food is average in every way, maybe a little too greasy. Nothing to get excited about. Go to Chicken Express instead read more

3rd time to try this place. It was good. They are so nice. Chicken was hot and fresh. Sides were good and not overcooked. Rolls were great. Easy to find and has a drive thru. Support local. read more

Food was so good, I had been wanting some comfort food. I really like the chicken that I took it home and I put it in the oven and it was still good! I will be stopping by more often. read more

Yes, the fried fish is good, but some of the other entrees are not so fresh. They advertise a senior plate, but questioned that I was old enough to get the discount. When I offered to show my license, they dropped it. But the sneakiest hidden up charge ($.75) was when I used my debit card. Yet, there's always a crowd at lunch, so I'd say the food would be freshest then. read more

Lots of options. Southern/soul food plus burgers and street tacos. Lots of options for sides. Very friendly and fast service. Could eat here multiple times a week. Priced very reasonably. read more

If I could give it NO stars I would. The chicken was cold and dried out. The mashed potatoes were out of a box and not even fixed according to the directions. The corn had sat in hot water so long it was hard. My friends meatloaf was so salty she couldn't eat it. Spoke to the manager and all he said was that he would give me my money back. BEWARE of this place if they say the fried fish is catfish. It IS NOT it's SWAY which some people pass off as "Vietnamese Catfish". First and last time there. read more

Service was great, the sides were hot and fresh, the fish was cold, rubbery, but flavored. Honey fried chicken? No flavor to the chicken batter. Get what you pay for I reckon. read more

Yeh. If you get a plate to go, you will take it home and eat it 3 meals. I drove by Pops a lot on my way home often. I always would say Im gonna stop there some time. A friend said doit! Do it! Im like...Imma show you! I did. Now I go there about once a week. Don't go here thinking oh...Im gonna get the best meatloaf I ever at or Salisbury steak. You are gonna get a very tasty one with very very friendly service and great portions. Oh, and for the review on the catfish? C'mon. Just if it looks full that means they just got it outta the fryer. If you get the last...well. Pops rocks. Keep up the great work. Kudos to the friendly staff too. read more

Very nice employees, good food, big portions if you like that and great pricing. Best French fries around.

Spot on. It is as close to home made as it comes. I order the mashed potatoes because they are so much like home made its crazy. I get takeout once a week at least. Mom likes the catfish and their tacos and quesadillas are pretty awesome too. read more

Nasty. I really tried to like the food, but there wasn't anything that was good. Very cheap quality food.

Worse food I ever ate in a restaurant. I have eaten here before and it was ok. Won't return!

This place has great fried chicken and catfish. The Mac and cheese is just ok. Friendly and fast service. Would dine here again

Local dive, cafeteria style with large proportions. Everything was fried and my meal was only luke warm. Nothing to write home about. Not sure I will stop again. read more

Tacos here are amazing. I always get the small quesadilla which is a full meal really. Freshly made and generous with the avocado. Love this place! read more

Went there this morning for takeout chicken. Place is clean, friendly staff and great chicken. I'll come back. Sides were fresh and tasty

The rolls are good. Chicken is pretty good when it's not served cold. The people at the drive thru are always nice but if you go inside, don't expect great customer service. Its pretty expensive for what you get. My husband loves the place, I don't. Its mediocre. read more

The BEST fried chicken. Like, ever. Not really a sit down place, but great for take out orders!

We've eaten here before and was great. Got their fried catfish. Stopped by on Friday on our way out of town to get fish. Was given chicken. Gave it back and said we would like the fried fish. Were told it would be five minutes. We didn't mind because the last time was so good. Two minutes later we are given our order. First of all it was half what we got last time. Then we tried to eat the fish. It must have been from the day before and put in the microwave and warmed. It was not fresh. It was awful. Lesson learned. Won't go back to this location. read more

I can't even give it one star since I walked out after being ignored by a total of three workers. Sweeping, arranging silverware, and stocking food containers was more important than waiting on me. read more

Great Fried chicken on the go! This is what I stick to here. The drive through is very convenient also. I'm not crazy about the sides but I get the chicken and make my own sides at home. The food is ready quickly. read more
