My Wife and Her Friend From Germany Stayed here during a holiday in the South West. I work in Plymouth so to save money I used my work accomodation, and my Wife Stayed at Poppy's to be with her friend. The Owner had recently taken on the guest house, in 2008, and was in the process of renovating it. The location is Near to the Hoe and Park Areas, and 5 Minutes walk from town. Parking is on street with Parking Meters, Free after 6pm until 0900 on Weekends. The rooms were Basic, but adequately equipped, My Wife had an En-Suite Dorma with rooftop views towards the town centre. Her Friends room was similar. Breakfast I can testify was excellent as the Lady Owner kindly accomodated me for breakfast with My Wife and her friend. the Price was extremely competitive, and once the owner has finished renovating (probably done by now as this was 2008), it will be a very convenient place to stay. I did take a pack of business cards for distribution at my place of work as a favour to the owner, and I stand by the decision.. Very Pleasant. read more
