Start on La Loma at Poppy Peak Dr. and walk up Poppy Peak Dr. Enjoy the winding streets but be careful because there are no sidewalks and visibility is limited at times because of the hairpin turns. It's not too steep. Take in the views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Admire the majestic trees.
Part of the charm of the homes is the way that they're built into the hillside. Many homes are multi-level with large windows and low rooflines. Most of the homes are well-maintained and have lovely landscaping too.
Towards the top, Poppy Peak Rd. circles around and back to the lower part of Poppy Peak Dr.
It's easy to find parking in the neighborhood. Also, you may want to check out the Secret Stairs near there if you're in the area (they are listed on Yelp). read more
