It's right at the entrance to the main square, which is filled with many similar touristy type places. My Wife loves browsing these stores, myself not so much. However this one was a cut above a lot of the others I've seen. In addition to the usual knick-knacks a place like this carries, they had some really nice looking items as well. Another thing struck me too, the nice, bright and airy feel to the place. It was really a very cheerful place and I spent a lot more time than I usually do in a place like this. And finally the beautiful red head who helped me. Although the store was pretty busy on a bustling Saturday afternoon, she took extra time to show me some cute things that she thought I'd like. I had heard that this was a good place to donate used books. I took 4 boxes of books there &…read moreattempted to follow their signage to leave them at the loading dock in the back. No one was there to accept them. The dock area was a complete disaster area, strewn with dumped stuff & downed signs. You couldn't even get to the door at the top of the ramp. A woman inside finally came out & mumbled something about everyone going on break at the same time before she helped take the boxes. I thought this might just be a one time issue with the dock. However, I was by there again a couple of days later & the dock was still an accident waiting to happen. It's an admirable concept but too bad it's not better managed. I won't be taking anything there again.

The thrift store itself is also connected to a historical home filled with antiques that you can look at and purchase. A short distance across the parking lot is another store that mostly has household appliances, lighting and fixtures. After looking through that space, I was not impressed. The thrift store itself is about as big as a convenience store where half the floor is given to clothing. They do have some books, games, a few furnishings, but not a whole lot else besides clothing. This place is worth poking your head into, but it's unlikely you'll find any collectible treasure.

Dozens of different vendors under one roof is a smart business; there is so much to see and choose from, and you can tell the creators put their hearts into what they make. The prices are reasonable and in some cases, lower than in other stores that I've seen. I go at least once a month (sometimes more often) to see what news items are out.
