My husband went in for a basic exam and X-rays and paid the $50 for a second opinion. We expected to hear about a couple problem areas, sure, but what we didn't expect was the total refusal to give any actual information. They told him he had a "mouthful of cavities" and possibly needed one or two root canals... yet they would not tell us how many cavities, where, what teeth, whether he had gingivitis, or any specifics at all. Every single question was met with some version of, "You'll need to schedule another appointment for that" which, of course, would be another exam fee. No treatment plan, no transparency, nothing. Just a push to book a second visit before giving even the most basic details. When we asked if they could at least start anything (cleaning, filling, something) after that second "consult," the answer was a shrug and basically, "Maybe a cleaning." So essentially: two appointments, two charges, zero clarity, zero work done. Not sure who has the free time for that kind of runaround. On top of that, they tried pushing Invisalign on my husband who has never had TMJ symptoms, grinding issues, jaw pain, or anything that would justify it. They market themselves as "low-cost dentistry," but the exam is the only thing that's inexpensive. Everything else feels like an upsell or a delay tactic. They also refused to give him his X-ray and told him he'd need to call back on Monday to request it. Just strange all around. We really wanted to give this place a fair shot, but the lack of transparency, the pressure to come back for unnecessary consultations, and the random Invisalign push all added up quickly. Definitely felt like a waste of $50.

They were responsible for my daughter's braces, and the experience was a hit and miss. When my daughter had to move out of state for college, and I needed her records, they ignored me months after I filled out their required records release form. It seems the specialist only comes once a week, traveling between locations. The receptionist did not know when the endodontist would be in Deltona and that I should call all the other branches to see where and when the specialist would be available. The third site I called told me the specialist would be there tomorrow and to call back. I made the appointment for the next day . The front office person was receptive and kindly, I asked about insurance and she said the lady at the end of the counter would be able to help. That lady immediately turned and said that she was a temp and did not know anything and I would have to call my insurance if I had questions. I sat down and waited about 1/2 hour before being called back. The person was impatient. Walked several feet in front of me never told me their name or position, Spoke with a heavy Indian or Pakistan accent and was difficult to understand. I was seasted in what appeared to be a anteroom with no door between myself and other clients. I could easily hear thier conversations regarding treatment (HIPPA!). Xrays were taken, I assume the next person I spoke with was the specialiat He never introduced himself, only to tell me that my root was broken and the tooth needed to be excised. Also they did not do extractions and to find another dentist. As I stood to leave the assistant ? asked what I thought and I said it was sub standard care. When he asked why I started to tell him and he cut me off, telling me I was disrespectful when I asked him who he was and what was his position and what did I expect. I hold a PhD in education having taught , amoung other subjects, Introduction to Patient care for those who were seeking a medical career. I would grade them F-
