They don't carry my favorite brands though. After a while of me searching around, a woman asked me if I needed help and I told her what I was looking for. I was saying it wrong, so she just stared at me. So I spelt it and the light came on. She pointed at the fridges and said it was in there. Sure enough it was and they had two different strengths. It cost me $6 for 400 grams. They have a small selection of whole foods and bulk foods. They also carry homeopathic remedies. I didn't feel the service here was the most helpful ever and since they don't carry my favorite vitamins, there are other health food stores I would rather go to.

Hemporium! That's hemp mixed with emporium... just in case you didn't get that!…read more I visit Hemporium ever so often to purchase the delicious smelling incense Nag Champa. Hemporium has a very wide selection of incense, which aren't actually priced that bad... unlike other things in the place. I realize that most stuff is supposed to be hand-crafted, but come on! It surprises me that people would manufacture environmentally friendly clothing, purses, pipes, herbs, etc. yet price all their stuff ridiculously! Some of the stuff is pretty nice, but waaay to expensive for me. I'll stick with the cheap stuff, thank you very much! The only really good thing about this place is the kitty they have roaming around. It's so cute and friendly and I love it! I wish the people helping were as innocent and pleasurable as the cat... that would certainly be nice.

Although calling the Hemporium a head shop is not really doing it justice. That's because in addition to the usual vaporizers, pipes, bongs, papers, and paraphanalia, they also have a great selection of hemp clothing and literature available. I've been here dozens of times, and regardless of who's working, the service has always been helpful and the staff themselves are a downright delight. So keep on Truckin' down to the Hemporium - you'll be "Grateful" you did!

I had no idea of its existence until I…read moredecided to put a commercial range into my home only to discover it's just too tricky with insurance, etc. So when I started researching close-to-commercial home ranges I discovered the Wolf line with it's 6 burners. I was directed to Jerome's in South Calgary for a live demonstration. The place is incredible, laden with hooked-up, working appliances. Mark the sales manager took me around and showed me their working Wolf ranges. He was very informative and did not put any undue pressure on me. Then I met Jerome, Jerome's owner, who was even more knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about cooking. He turned on the range, showed me the features and even invited me back for lunch the next day. An added plus, Jerome is an adamant hockey fan. I show up the next at 1pm and he had me cook the entire staff meal on the Wolf. It was fantastic! When you think how much cooking equipment--particularly ranges--cost it makes sense you should test drive them before buying. Jerome's make this possible. There is no one else I know who is providing this level of service and the try-before-you-buy demonstration. Highly highly recommended. Pay these guys a visit.
