6/9/21: It was my first time stopping by. There was a lot of customers, so I figured my food would be fresh. I read the reviews while waiting in the drive thru line, but I gave them a chance anyway. They were out of shrimp, which wasn't a problem because I wanted a plain chicken sandwich. I ordered it and paid. The cashier wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either. I got my sandwich and went on my way. It was freshly cooked & just how I ordered it. I have no complaints outside of the cashier not being the friendliest. Maybe next time I can update this to a five star review. read more

I visited the store on September 13th and 14th (2026), trying to purchase a spicy chicken breast on both days. Of course - more likely than not - they don't have spicy. They try to give you what they've cooked. I'm only paying for what I asked for. They need to hire new staff or shut this store down until they can make sure they have the chicken with the "Bold New Orleans - style flavor" in the store- all of the time. This is the worst chicken I've ever had. It was cold (I live 1 mile away) there's barely any sauce and the chicken tastes like it was cooked in month old oil, it's gritty and chalky? I just got home from the Popeyes on Mercury Boulevard in front of Langley Square. I ordered two meals. Both meals were supposed to be three-piece dark with red beans and rice. I open them. I have two pieces in each container, both white meat. At least they got the red beans and rice, right. So I paid $30 for four pieces of chicken and red beans and rice. Tried to call the store and it's busy called back 20 minutes later. It's still busy. It doesn't even ring. It just goes right to phone is later. read more

I ordered through a delivery app because they had a promotion deal and I love Popeyes. The only fried chicken I ate living in New Orleans and the West Bank aside from Brothers after the club. This place is a disappointment. Not just because it doesn't taste like Popeyes original chicken or because it's not even hot but because they can't put orders together correctly. I didn't expect a refund but I did reach out for help on the app because my order was incorrect and I got the wrong side item, and not one sauce I requested was included with the nuggets. I came here twice recently and everything was normal. Then I discovered they have a mobile app so decided to give it a try. I placed the order while I was at home. I drove to the location, and was told to park on the side because my order was not ready, along with another vehicle that had to wait. The other vehicle got their food yet I sat there for 20 minutes waiting (they forgot about my food). So I went to the drive thru for the 2nd time and they acted like they didn't know what order I was talking about. I went to the drive thru window and the lady just handed me my bag without further questioning which let me know my food had been sitting there for quite some time and no one brought it out to me. I get home and the order is not completely correct. I go back to this location, they tell me to come inside. There was never an apology, just straight faces and limited options for retribution. I'm not the type to make a fuss but the customer service was not it today. I wanted Popeyes so bad but that just ruined my experience... I don't even want this cold food anymore read more

This place has serious problems! Nothing but chaos from the start of the order to leaving! If mass coupons are mailed out in the local area, and the employ knows they need the coupon code before getting the order, the employee needs to ask "Are you using a coupon for this order" . I gave her my order and told her I had a coupon and then she had to start all over...gave her the code three times but she couldn't hear me. I had to go in to order my food and once I got it, the employee walked away....without a cup to get my drink...had to wait several minutes before she came back. Also, while in the drive thru, the noise coming from the speaker was sooo loud ie yelling, laughing, talking, music playing. Yo this Popeyes sucks!!!! I literally waited 57 minutes in the drive thru for a spicy chicken sandwich and a drink. That's unacceptable at all. As a business owner myself I'd be appalled if a patron of mine had to wait that long for their food. If that's not bad enough, my sandwich was like warm! Popeye's could care less if someone gets ill from their food or not!!! Got a carry out dinner for my mother last Sunday. Number one staff was rude and does not know the meaning of customer service. The second and worst thing of all is that my 85 year old mother got food poisoning from the chicken she had eaten. Spoke with corporate concerning this matter and was asked if we would like a free dinner for the inconvenience. Was given a claim number for their insurance and they basically said how can you prove it was the chicken! My poor mother had just a month earlier been through heart surgery and could have died from this and to be treated like this is inexcusable. Corporate to hide behind an insurance company and not take responsibility of their mistake is incredible and shows what type of company this is. My only suggestion is DO NOT EAT AT POPEYES because even if you get sick or treated like you are an inconvenience it doesn't matter to them. read more

One star because the employees are always friendly and my order has always been correct when going through the drive through. However... that's where it ends. Every time I get fries as a side they are served cold and the fries are soggy and stuck together. I've watched enough episodes of Bar Rescue to know that a dirty fryer is the result of soggy food. The sweet tea is just OK at this location. It's always hot with zero ice. The chicken is good but again, the fryer is dirty so it makes the chicken soggy too. I've never been inside this location so I can't comment on the service in that area. I think this place just needs a deep cleaning because it would make a world of a difference. read more
