No biscuit fries end up being burnt on remake whole mash pestos were cold from the only thing that I received fresh at the beginning

Went to drive thru order a 3 pc chicken on the recipient of that I came back and stated the dolls was cold still at the time no chicken was being freshly dropped because the same 7pcs remained under heater was still there 15 mins of me waiting for fresh fries and the chicken that I ordered I stepped out for 2 mins as they said at the beginning a few mins to end up waiting almost 30 mins after the 30 mins of waiting the employee stated 9 mins left so long story they'll give you anything that's up on the pass old to check you out

    This sure isn't coleslaw

There is a warning of sorts that is posted on the front door before entering that if you have any problems to contact the District Manager equivalent first. That should have been the signal that says, Don't Do it! In my case I did a mobile order that included cole slaw. When I arrived at the restaurant employees were chatting / argung amongst themselves and finally someone asked what my order was, and then one mumbled they didn't have any coleslaw. When I got my order I did get the mashed potatoes I asked for and wouldn't you know it I got a box of fries, when I asked about my coleslaw she said we're out so we gave you fries. Think about that for a moment, I mean Popeyes is a nutritional disaster to begin with, but mashed potatoes and fries, seriously? Next, I went to contact Popeyes and all I could get was the digital support team who has promised a response, so far that's not happened and given the mess this company has become since being acquired I do not have much hope. Do yourself a favor- run don't walk away from this location.

Everything is seasoned perfectly, cooked right, and served hot. The fried fish was crispy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, the greens tasted like they came straight out of someone's family kitchen, and the candied yams were sweet and done just right. It's the kind of plate that reminds you why Southern cooking is so special. But what really stood out to me wasn't just the food. It was the customer service. In most places, you either get incredible food with average service, or great service with food that's just okay. Southern Grace somehow manages to deliver both at a very high level. From the moment you walk in, you're treated with genuine kindness and respect. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and you can tell they actually care about the experience they're giving their customers. I have to make a special mention to one of the team members LaDon for his exceptional professionalism. That kind of consistency between food quality and customer service is rare. It makes the entire experience feel personal rather than transactional. If you're looking for authentic Southern food paired with top-tier hospitality, Southern Grace is absolutely worth the visit. Places like this remind you what real customer service is supposed to feel like.

From the moment the aroma hit the table to the last bite, this meal was nothing short of legendary. Let's start with the pulled pork -- outstanding doesn't even begin to describe it. Perfectly smoky, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor, it was the kind of meat that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. Juicy, rich, and done exactly right. And the sides didn't just show up as an afterthought -- they completed the meal. The greens were deeply flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese was pure comfort food excellence: creamy, cheesy, and impossible to stop eating. Now... the wings. These are the kind of wings you'd happily drive across town for -- crispy, meaty, and bold in flavor. Absolutely worth the trip all on their own. And then there's the brisket. I'll just say this: ridiculous. Smoky, juicy, beautifully seasoned, and so tender it barely needed a knife. One bite was enough to reset my expectations for what great brisket should be. Everything here tastes like it was made with care, patience, and real BBQ passion. If you're even remotely serious about barbecue, this place needs to be on your list. I'll be back -- and bringing friends next time.

The other day, I happened to notice they had posted about a corporate client cancelling a big order at the last minute and asking for help selling the catering order. I needed to go run an errand near the location anyway so it seemed like fate. And I will not wait around on Sweets & Meats again because this food is legit. I got the pulled pork sandwich combo, which comes with two sides (and they have like eight different sides - I love variety!). I appreciated that my to-go order had the meat and sauce separate from the bun so I could assemble at home and not have a bunch of pork and bread mush instead of a sandwich. The pork was delicious - it didn't NEED sauce but the sauce was so good I had to throw some on there. The collards were delicious (they can go so wrong so easily). But the mac & cheese was the star. I immediately started telling people "you need this mac & cheese in your life, you're welcome." Their little spot underneath Children's Hospital is modest but cute and clean. Service was friendly and they gave me my cornbread (oh, the cornbread - I almost forgot! Also delicious) for free because they accidentally gave my very similar order to the wrong person (we ordered the same meal, I just added cornbread). They were actually in the weeds a bit because their call to action was successful - the phone was ringing off the hook and I got there in time to beat the crowd. Take-out or dine-in, Sweets & Meats is worth the visit. Get the mac & cheese! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Even though the chicken was consistently good, the skin was a bit darker than usual which was the only thing that caught my eye as different. I prefer when it looks golden not overly dark. I had stopped going to KFCs for a long time because they were not consistently good and didn't look appealing, but, it seems that what ever was wrong with the overall brand, has been corrected. The KFC buildings all over seem to need a bit sprucing up and that would go for all of the ones I've visited.
