Terrible Customer Service! I bought my husband a pair of Birkenstock sandals for $130 less than…read more2-weeks ago. The size we got was too big so we exchanged them 4-days later with now issues. He wore the new pair around the house and on one walk around the block and unfortunately got a blister on the top of one of toes. even with adjusting the buckles, he wasn't able to get a comfortable fit on the shoes. We tried to return them a few days later but were told by the owner that because they were worn outside he wouldn't be able to resell them and couldn't return them. He refused to provide an in-store credit saying it would be the same as giving us money back and how would that be fair to his business. His solution was for my husband to wear socks with the sandals. He has no return or refund policy posted at the counter or on his receipts so customers are aware that he won't take product back. Now I know how he can afford to open another business in Newberg. I was intentional about shopping here because I had been helped in a purchase of a pair of Birkenstocks only a few weeks prior to this purchase and loved my experience and the shoes I got. I am all about supporting local businesses but will not be shopping here again or encouraging anyone else to do so either.

I placed an order on August 27th for shoes specifically for my autistic son to wear when he went back to school. I was given a delivery date of September 3rd, so I trusted Nike to do what they promised. Nike was VERY QUICK to take my money, but apparently not nearly as quick to communicate when they couldn't fulfill my order. Nobody contacted me to tell me there was a problem. Nobody warned me that the delivery was going to be delayed. I was left waiting and expecting my son's shoes to arrive. Now, after my son has already gone back to school, I'm being told that the shoes are NO LONGER IN STOCK. Are you serious, Nike? You accepted my order. You took my money. You gave me a delivery date. And then you failed to deliver the shoes and failed to properly communicate with me until it was too late. The person who suffers from Nike's mistake is my son. He has had to go back to school wearing his old shoes because Nike couldn't fulfill an order that I placed in good faith. This isn't just about a pair of shoes anymore. It's about accountability. If Nike knew there was an inventory problem, I should have been notified immediately so I could have found another pair before my son went back to school. I understand that mistakes happen. What I DON'T understand is how a company as large as Nike can take someone's money immediately but fail to take responsibility when the company makes the mistake. Nike screwed up this order, and my son is the one paying the price for it. I expected much better from Nike. They have over 100 stores, a good mix of premium and every day brands. Some of the noteworthy stores are Disney, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo RL, Fossil, MK, Coach, CK, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Pandora, Swarovski, Tumi, American Eagle and Banana Republic. Sporting/athletic brands include Nike, Adidas, UA, Lululemon, Columbia, North Face, and Oakley. There are multiple children's brand as well like Carter's, Children's place, Janie and Jack and OshKosh. The outlet space is mostly clean and well maintained. The common pathways are wide, with lots of benches and chairs available to sit and rest. Most of the pathway is covered by shaded roof. There were several vending machines for drinks and small snacks. A lot of the stores offered good discounts and sales. Prices were good for clothes and accessories products. But the size of the stores were smaller and fewer product varieties. All the stores we went in, had friendly staff members. The outlet also does promotional events as we saw one by Xfinity in the parking lot.
