And everyone is backlogged and over whelmed. So! I started calling stores in FL (figured I'd use some of frequent flyer miles and go get what I need). Talking to Rob, he finds what I need, in Texas, about 20 min from where I live!! He then called me today to make sure I was able to get the part & everything was taken care of!!! That is Customer Service!! You're not even getting a sale but still make sure the person got what they needed!! You can't go wrong operating a business with this mindset!!!

In fact, I feel terrible for the staff who are expected to work in these conditions every single day. The store itself was another story. There is a massive chlorine tank located inside this very small store, something I have never encountered before. Most pool stores I've visited keep tanks like this outside. The chlorine smell inside was overwhelming and almost impossible to tolerate. After only about 10 minutes in the store, I developed severe chest tightness and bronchospasms. My breathing became bad enough that I ended up going to the hospital after leaving. I cannot imagine what repeated exposure is doing to the employees who spend entire shifts in that environment. Leslie's needs to take this seriously. No customer should have to leave a retail store struggling to breathe, and no employee should be expected to work in an environment with such an overpowering chemical odor. I sincerely hope corporate investigates this location immediately and addresses whatever is causing these conditions before someone else experiences what I did.

Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool!
