We waited 20 minutes just to be seated, which wasn't too bad, but then spent over an hour waiting for our food without any updates or apologies. When it finally arrived, the steak was so overcooked it was practically jerky.. tough to chew in every sense of the word. The kids' grilled cheese was no better; an overwhelming amount of unmelted, plasticky cheese that even our little one wouldn't touch. Our waitress, while friendly, seemed scattered and forgetful.. she couldn't remember basic drink orders and while she checked in it was awkward. On top of all that, the dining room was warm and stuffy, with only a few fans barely moving the air. Sadly, this was not the relaxed, enjoyable meal we were hoping for. We won't be back.

My wife ordered the ribeye which was cooked to absolute perfection and the other three of us ordered the prime rib. What made their prime rib so much different is that it wasn't over seasoned and subpar quality. They let the meat speak for itself and it was tender and unforgettable. Hildreth is a little bit out of the way, but it's definitely worth stopping in.
