We were taking our dog there on a relatively regular basis and had prepaid for daycare days. We had also booked boarding for a few days. We were abruptly informed that they would be closed for renovation throughout the summer and we would have to board him elsewhere. A significant number of other people who depended on pooch parlor were suddenly left in the lurch. We won't be returning. read more

This is a decent place for your pup. I recommend among the choices here. I would rate higher if it wasn't so expensive. I think $50 a night is pricey plus an additional $4/ night for food, most places include that cost. I would look into rover.com as an alternative for top care at reasonable prices. read more

I had posted this on Google 3 weeks ago.. but want it seen on Yelp also... my update: after being there just one night...I've found 5 tics on my poodle!! Not happy with their boarding. When I picked up my 2 dogs they were so wired... panting like crazy. My older dog was so happy to see me, he crawled into my lap while I was driving, he never does that. They both were still panting after a 20 minute ride home. Their blanket had been peed on, which has never happened before. We dropped them off Friday morning and picked them up 4pm Saturday. So thankful they were only there for only an overnight and not longer... We use to use 4Paws, but unfortunately they closed down. I'll have to start researching another alternative because they wont be coming back here. read more

Our dog was there overnight only. When we picked him up he was so thirsty he was panting. He almost made himself sick guzzling so much water that I gave him. I don't know how long he was without water. I won't take him here again! read more

I found Pooch Parlor through word of mouth when i was looking for daycare for my Lab Enzo. He has separation issues and i was concerned about leaving him with anyone on the chance that he'd freak out. Jo and everyone here have done a fantastic job of bringing him out of his shell. The change in him is incredible, he's becoming a happy well adjusted dog. I can't say enough good things about the crew. We took our small dogs here quite a few times thru the years. This has been the 1st time we have ever had a bad experience. We were extremely over charged( which if a good job would still be exceptable) but our dogs skin and hair was so dry! And there hair was extremely choppy. Who ever cut them had no idea what they were doing! Beware! read more

I have used them for grooming and boarding. They are wonderful, caring, friendly and affordable. The groomer listened to me and my dog was returned with the best groom she has ever had. For the boarding, we left our dogs for a weekend. We have never left our dogs with anyone. I loved that we could kennel them together. They were returned clean and very happy. They didn't want to leave. I highly recommend Pooch Parlor. We begin puppy training with our new addition at their facility in a few weeks and I know that it will be a great experience as well. read more

We left our dog in this kennel for 9 nights Christmas of 2018. When we picked him up nobody said anything about an injury when we got him home he was limping, he is a very small dog so he was carried in and out. Today the vet exrayed our dogs leg and it is broken. We want to know what happened to our dog while it was in their care but they say they don't know. Really! I will never be leaving my dog with them again and that is because the break is so bad he will most likely have to be put down. Please don't leave your dog in this facility. read more

I took my golden there 3 times figuring that I would give them every opportunity but it was a fail every time. The first time they shaved my golden's neck and in the time of 9 months it has not ever grown back right. Then the next time they clipped 3 feet leaving one unclipped. That episode my husband saw a girl hit a small dog and we swore we would never go back. We tried out the doggy day care for large dogs. NO grooming or boarding just a play date with other dogs. When I dropped him off they put him in a crate even when I questioned it. When I went back to check just 2 hours later (cause I felt untrusting on the whole deal), he was still in a crate barking and crying. Not the fun time they expressed. He is a loving golden and loves everyone but is scared to go in there and will back away. Now every time I drive by there are dogs in the kennels in full sun and they are all crying. We would not recommend anyone taking their animal to the Pooch Parlor. Unfortunately the management plays favorites with their staff and sometimes animals are not handled as they should which has caused animals to get hurt. The overall atmosphere is good, but could be alot better with the right management and staff in place. Alot of the times proper training seems to be an issue and scheduling, as the management seems to bring in their personal baggage which takes away from a "friendly working environment". I wish them well, but would not take my animals here. read more

Poor service, 2 hours turned into more like 3, very poor quality of work, cut the dog tried to say that she's a puppy and wouldn't set still. I watched after the 2 hour mark and dog was sitting and doing what she wanted. Groomer was very frenzied the whole time, more interested in other things than grooming dog it seemed to me even tho there were hardly any other dogs there. Would/will not use again, they are just down as snow birds from somewhere north and I can see why they want u to sign a statement that holds them not responsible for anything. They are in the Southwest Exchange Home & RV superstore which has more expensive prices than the RV connections store on 32nd. read more
