Really like bringing my 3 boys here. There's a small and big section which is nice when there are some rough playing dogs but sometimes all the joining gates are open and everyone plays together. There's a 3rd section with turf and agility course items. My boys love scratching their backs on the turf. We've met some awesome dogs to play with. After seeing some of the lame reviews on Yelp, I was hesitant to visit Pooch Park, but I'm am glad I finally did.The Pooch Park is tucked away by the Cooper River Park and there is plenty of parking. There are two areas for the dogs, a small dog section and a big dog section. The big dog section provides plenty of room for your dog to play. Granted- it is not huge, so it isn't ideal for running. But I liked it because I was able to sit on a bench and have a view of my dog no matter where she wandered. There is a cement path that runs through the gated area. On side of the park is covered in gravel- the other in grass. The gravel is great for post rain. There are also plenty of benches and trees for shade. The park also has poop bags, a poop trash can, and various water bowls and toys inside the park for your dogs to play with. Outside the park there is a water fountain for humans and dogs which is nice. The water gets turned off after the first freeze. I've only met a few people here so far, but they have all been welcoming and their dogs have been nice and playful. If you are more interested in nature trails, this might not be the place for you. Although there is a small nature trail located at the very back of the parking lot. read more

Tucked away at the very end of a street behind busy Route 70. Never seems to be too crowded. Place seemed clean enough and for the little dog area. Everything was great, separating my old man who is 18 lbs. of mutterdom from the big boys. Much appreciated. I always bring my own poop bags, but it looks like they are provided as well here. read more

No complaints here! My 11 pound shitzu loves it here. I love that the park has a specific small dog area. My dog is easily intimidated by large dogs. Easily accessed from Collingswood, Cherry Hill and Haddon Township. The parking is ample and easy, there are plenty of trash cans and even a dog/human water fountain. Avoid immediately after the rain it gets muddy. I wish more people brought their small dog to play. read more

This is a good dog park for smaller dogs there's two sides....g1 for really small dogs, and 1 for regular dogs. Its cute but not the best if you want your larger dog to get some exercise...I'd recommend Timber Creek for that...#dogparks #MansBestFriend read more

I'm a small dog owner so when large dog owners insist on having their big dogs (and I'm talking well over 75lbs) play in the little dog area while being belligerent, egotistical, rude & disgusting, then this park is not for me. This park continues to disappoint me. NEVER EVER STEPPING FOOT HERE AGAIN. After being hopeful about this park because it's so close to me, it pains me to give it such a low rating. I hate it that there's no shading in the little dog area & because of that I hate it that there are never or rarely any little dogs. I hate the huge ditch you have to drive through to get to the parking lot. And today I encountered the gross over filled garbage from the weekend. So disappointed. Go to Connolly Oark instead. Pooch Park is a part of Cooper River Park, located at the end of Park Boulevard North in Cherry Hill. This is a great place to bring your dog(s). There are two fenced in areas, one for larger canines and one for smaller ones. Dogs must be at least 5 months, not sick, and a bunch of other sensical requirements. The couple of times I've been there we've encountered great dogs and great owners. Everyone seems to know each other and is very respectful - without being overbearing. The area is some kind of gravel so it doesn't get too muddy. Great resource for a pooch who needs to run around! read more

It's decent. Fully fenced and plenty of room to throw a ball. My dogs of course love it, neither one of us are picky. I've been there every day for about a week and I've only met one other person (and dog) there, the place is deserted! My dogs love to play with other dogs, is there another dog park nearby more populated? (Edit) I just looked at the other reviews. I think it deserves better. It is a nice park, my dogs as most dogs would love it. I just wish there were other dogs there. Not bad at all! Glad it's in within a mile from our home. It could use a little funding but overall, a nice place to bring to pups to burn off some energy. read more

I love this park ,only complaint is that people don't pick up after the pets . Go bright and early it gets packed easily on the weekends!

Ground completely covered in slushy ice when i went in February. Even though it is gravel, there is still a lot of red gravel that is muddy on the way in, so the mud is unavoidable. Outside gate does not close. People are friendly and nice. My dog really had fun there. She is not so hard to please. read more

This dog park is decent. I go here with my dog because it is the closest one to where I live. Many of the people are very friendly and take good care of their dogs. However, there are many who don't and use aversives such as "alpha rolling" and scruffing, which just stresses their dog out and in turn stresses out everyone else's dogs. I have also encountered some who don't pay attention to their dog while there and allow their dog to bully and harass others. But of course this can occur at any dog park! We just leave when I see it. :) Otherwise, the fenced in areas are nice and roomy and there are places for people to sit. There is also a water fountain for the dogs. The ground is part gravel in the big dog section so expect it to be very muddy and messy after rain or snow. read more

I've been going to this park for about 2 years now. There is an urgent matter every one who attends this park must be made aware of. Every morning at around 8 AM there is an elderly couple with two dogs, a black one and a brownish-tan dog. THESE DOGS ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE! They are equipped with Shock Collars, and are abused during their stay. I've personally witnessed this. They attacked my dog, whom is EXTREMELY dog friendly! They gave no warning, or indication that their dogs are aggressive. But the whimper in their voice...you could tell they have shock collars regularly used. When confronting the man about his dogs and the safety of other companions at this PUBLIC dog park, he said "you came in here on your own accord. you heard my dogs barking at your dog, yet you still came in here." completely removing the blame from himself for his aggressive dogs. He happily made us aware that he is there every morning, at the same time. If you are willing to bring your dog to this dog park, steer clear of this couple. They will not give you warning, and they will not care if they hurt your dog. I really hope someone reads this and understands the seriousness of it. read more
