Pony Express Visa Service is legit!!! I was concerned about using Arthur's service because there were only 4 Yelp reviews. My husband was even more concerned than me. However, every time I had a question about obtaining a China Visa, Arthur would literally answer me within minutes. There is misinformation on the internet about Chinese Visas that are old. American citizens can now obtain 10 year visas for the same price as the 3 month visas, and there is no 90 day visa expiration date of entering the country for the 1st time. Thanks to Arthur, my mom was able to e-mail her visa person and have them change her visa to a 10 year at no extra cost. (Her East Coast Visa person said NOTHING to her about a 10 year for the same price as the 1 year) Luckily the 1 Elite Yelp review and Arthur's diligent communication put us more at ease, and we took the risk. Also, he raised his prices to $60 for the first visa and $40 for each additional. I was bummed about this, but I reasoned a scam artist would NOT deter customers with an increase in prices. For those of you who have never obtained a visa, it is scary to mail your passport, your child's actual birth certificate (no copies), and your original marriage license to a total stranger. I received everything today, just as he promised. My only suggestion would be to offer certified return mail. My documents had tracking, but I would have gladly paid the extra certified mail fee if given the option. Bottom Line: A legit business that runs very smoothly! read more

After realizing that my passport had just expired, and booked a flight to HK and Chengdu, I had a major problem and only had 3 weeks to solve it. After reading some Yelp reviews, I called around and decided to work with Art. I had mentioned that my passport was expired and he introduced me to his friend Peter who was able to expedite a renewed passport. I met Peter to go over paperwork, and in turn he seamlessly gave the new passport over to Art. Art was able to turn around a Chinese visa in a few days. I picked up my passport and visa included from Art, and the experience was mostly good. The only one thing is that I understand that Art makes it convenient for people by meeting at places near the 110 Freeway, but in the future, I would probably opt not to meet at a McDonald's south of DtLA. read more

I needed visas for a last minute business trip to China. Because our business is a bit different from the norm, I had questions regarding the application. Super sweet service. The guy that runs it (Art Guzman) is quite the entrepreneur. This guy takes all the wait time and leg work out of getting your visa. He's very knowledgeable and makes it very convenient. For $50, he'll relieve you from having to schlep into LA, search for parking, wait in line, deal with the hit-or-miss service from the grumpy workers and come back and do it all over again. Steal of a deal. If you need more than one visa, it's $25 more per extra. I had to drive in because my dad didn't have a valid CDL but for half price, he saved me the return trip. Arthur is amazing! I arrived from (Orange County) at the Chinese consulate on, you guessed it, a Chinese holiday! I walked up and the guard told me it was closed but then pointed to a guy standing on the corner (talking to someone at their car) and said his name was Arthur and that he was a courier and he could help me. I called to Arthur and when he was done, he came over and asked me if I needed a visa. We were planning a vacation in China with our family and extended family so I came prepared with all the documentation including original birth certificates for kids and passports (for 8 people). Arthur handed me his card and said he could handle it for us for $50 for first and $25 for each thereafter (plus the $140/per person consulate fee for the visas). I was very hesitant to hand our original documentation to some guy on the street corner but also was a little desperate. After researching for many hours how to navigate the visa ordeal I did remember seeing one post about Pony Express so it was familiar to me. While we stood there I looked up his website online and decided to go for it. This was on a Friday. Friday afternoon, I received a text from Arthur confirming he had reviewed our applications and that everything looked good. Monday morning I received another text confirming that the applications had been filed and accepted by the consulate and he would pick up Thursday and he asked me to send the money. I went ahead and sent the money, on Thursday he mailed the package with tracking and we received everything successfully! Arthur was amazing, great communication, I would definitely recommend and also charges so much less than the travel agencies!!!!! You should contact him first though about all the requirements for a successful Visa application if you are not aware of exactly what is necessary because they WILL reject your application! Things like everything filled out in CAPS, signatures in black ink, there is just so much to cover (Arthur will help you out). We requested the 9 year multiple visa entry on the forms (you have to fill it in yourself) and it doesn't cost any more, you just have to know how to do it. Also, student ID's and original birth certificates for kids (all will come back), we just got regular passport photos from local UPS store. If you are self employed provide a business card and you must provide a full itinerary, I read some people only had flights but we had flights and hotels to avoid rejection. If you have to cancel your hotel and change it so be it as long as you give the consulate your reservation confirmation. If you do decide to go yourself (like I originally intended), you can take applications on behalf of others.
