I was quickly seated on a crowded, but still pleasant Saturday night, ordered the traditional, famous, classic Bauru roast beef sandwich, and received it very quickly -- almost suspiciously quickly. I was told by friends that the definition of the Bauru is meat, cheese, and pickles, but mine came with tomato also. The sandwich was terrific; the blend of cheeses really made it through the meaty-cheesiness of it all, though if I were to order again, I'd probably add a vegetable or two and try the Syrian bread. I think my sandwich was about R$40 and the Bauru can go up to R$60+ with options, which is the price I'd expect. I would come back here. read more
