I just had the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, which was delicious. My wife (the family foodie) had Zander (fish in dill sauce) talked about it for two days, and our local friends had the steak in pepper sauce, which I tried, and it was great. 3. The restaurant has two kegel lanes, with private dining available. Kegel is the forefather of what we know as bowling, and a fun experience if you have the chance. Service is friendly and price is about average for a bar/eatery of this category. My wife enjoys ordering half portions of her menu favorites as she rarely has the appetite for the larger portions that are the norm at most places. Dog and smoker friendly. Smoking area seating is in the bar area. There are a half-dozen tables to accommodate smokers. My usual order is rumpsteak (sirloin) cooked medium. I have been consistently pleased with the quality and preparation of my steaks at Rolfes. They are on par with the very best I have eaten anywhere and that is saying quite a bit since I exist mostly on coffee, cigarettes and sirloin.
