We stayed in the Gribin room (so called because it looks straight onto the mountain of the same name). The bed is huge and was amazingly comfortable and the shower is a proper shower and even changes colour whilst you're in it. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. We also walked over to Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall which is a great walk, a couple of hours each way with great views on a clear day and the waterfall itself is beautiful and theirs a tea shop at the base of the falls. Outside, there's a barrier separating the patrons from meandering shoppers, like zoo animals. You feel like you've simply stopped dead in a busy thoroughfare and in some ways you have. This is the kind of place you could walk into, get a drink and walk out of without breaking stride. However this is a very friendly place despite what the pictures might suggest - the ridiculous number of England flags for the world cup make it look like a BNP social club but they are not a permananet feature, although having said that these things usually get left up until they have turned yellow and start to frey. Noty a great selection of beers, the theme is cheap and plentiful as the old fellas here will usually start at midday and go on drinking for ages which creates that strange, funny but baffling atmosphere you get with drunken old people. Friendly but you rarely know what the joke is - it's generally the young one.

They didn't charge us full price for the night took 2pounds off not sure why think it was a offer they just did because the couple that left after us had same thing. It is in a good location, not to far from telford centre only a bus ride and there is a bus stop just outside the house. They have 5 rooms and a shared bathroom they also have a dining room and lounge room. Really nice people and place to stay would have loved to stay longer. All the furnishing are traditional and make it a nice place to visit really clean saw three cleaners in one morning

This isnt just any old Truckers Cafe it also attracts Familys and local's for a good selection of hearty home cooked, great british Grub. Not only are the breakfasts well worth a try (be warned they are belly busters!) they also do a Fantastic Roast Dinner, which also comes with Chips if your extra hungry! It's all homemade, nothing out of the packet, the Gravy is like your mum makes and the Chips are good old fashioned cut potatoes and not frozen. The Decor isnt fancy or anything to shout home about, but with food as good as this it doesnt need to be its just big bulky tables and an assortment of odd chairs but it works! For Truckers its ideal, they have Shower facilities on site and a Huge Car Park and right next to a petrol station so you have everything you need for an overnight stay. Try it, you wont be dissapointed. Such great Value and Mega Size portions that'll make you want to go back every time you pass!

On the menu is everything from all day breakfasts to full roast dinners, of which there is a different one each day. There are usually two or three other mains and several old fashioned puddings. We have a toasted sandwich each time we visit, delicious and fast. The only down-side is their coffee. It is obviously instant and possibly poor quality but the food is fantastic.
