First I have been there when Don has been there and this was not what he would expect in friendliness or service. Most there were abrupt and seemed uncaring today. We purchased 36 plants and while they were looking up the price I told them I thought the sign said like $4.98 each they went on rang them up and my wife paid we loaded up and as we were leaving Shawnee i ask how much the ticket was and she told me $250 something. I told her that did not sound right. So she calls the store and the say they were $6.98 each. So here is my point, when I said about $4.98 why did they not say well no they are $6.98 and let me make the choice if I wanted to continue at that amount. I feel cheated as a long time customer that we were done that way. But, I will say it will never happen again as this is not the only place in the area that has great plants and in a lot of cases cheaper. My wife wanted to take half of them back as that used a chuck of her flower budget and I told her we will just go elsewhere from now on. I know my not shopping there will not impact them much but it will help my account a lot and I won't feel like I was just ripped off. Jim & Dianne

The individual door looks like an alleyway between two stores lined with beautiful plants. The owners have ties to Ft. Smith, Arkansas with deep entrepreneurial roots in nurseries. They opened the adorable coffee shop next door and call Shawnee, Oklahoma home. Their web site says "We believe that cultivating life in your home and workplace creates a healthier lifestyle. Plants are one of the most unique ways that you can do that! We love all kinds of plants and love to help find plants for people that work for them. We love having a unique selection of plants and we handpick them from greenhouses all across the Midwest. We want to inspire you to bring plants into home and help educate you on the unique plant that you find! We don't want you to come back because your plant died, we want you to come back because of how much you loved caring for the one you have! We also offer residential design and help stage homes!" They want to help the buyer with their plants and want people to love plants. They want to share the peace and life that a living plant can bring into a space! If you need plants in the metro area, THIS IS THE PLACE! It's worth the drive! Come on out.

Had very poor customer service at checkout in the garden center that resulted in us having to all…read morethe way back up to customer service to get it corrected. We eventually got the error corrected and asked to talk to a manager about our experience. After waiting on her to finally come to the customer service desk she was obviously not concerned about our poor experience or dealing with the rude checkout clerk. As we were loading our stuff in the car I noticed the same manager out front just wandering around talking to another manager. I caught her attention and pointed out the employee goofing off ignoring everyone else in the garden center looking for help. She looked and then just walked off without dealing with it. So my biggest complaint is the management at this location encouraging bad customer service. I find fewer and fewer reasons to go into this Lowe's. Poor value service.
