This is a beautiful RV Park with lots of ammenties and they can definitely accommodate bigger rigs, our 40' Motorhome and toad fit into the level site with ease. We requested a large site so we didn't have to unhook and could exit the park the next morning so site 30 worked out great we exited the site right onto the side street, there were some low hanging branches on the road which has nothing to do with the park but we were able to maneuver around them. The park owners should address this with the county road maintenance department to eliminate the concerns. It's obvious the staff here continues to make upgrades so as good as it is it can only get better. Access is very easy exiting exit 112 west bound off I-10. As others have stated Bonifay is a very small town but there are a number of restaurants in close proximity we had dinner next door at M&W Bbq. We are so happy to have found this place and definitely plan to visit them again in the future. I thought the prices were very fair and everything worked out great, for us this is a park that we highly recommend...

Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. I'd stay here again.

This is only our 5th camping trip in our travel trailer, but we have stayed at a few other RV parks when we camped with my in-laws. Formerly called Emerald Coast RV Resort, Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach had great online reviews, which were supported by numerous pictures. Our "style" of camping may be a little different than most. We are not ones to just sit under our awning and relax. We like to be on the go and see everything a city has to offer when we camp. Therefore, we use our travel trailer as a relocatable hotel room that serves as our base of operations as we explore the surrounding areas. However, even though we may not use them, we prefer RV resorts with lots of amenities. Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach is a beautiful resort, and he front office staff were all delightful. It is meticulously landscaped, and they pick up the trash twice daily (10:30 AM & 6:30 PM). There are 2 heated pools with adjacent shower facilities, multiple key coded laundry rooms, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a sand volleyball court, shuffleboard "courts", pickleball courts and a covered basketball "pavilion". The sites are decently spaced and easy to access. The resort is in close proximity to highway 98 and Front Beach Road. You are near the beach, Zoo World (no smells or loud animal noises), Wonder Works, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Pier Park, and a plethora of other activities and restaurants. The only negative I experienced is that while at the back pool, there were numerous kids under 14 years old at the pool and they were unattended by any adults. They were rough housing in the pool so much that we decided to walk to the other pool. I should have advised the staff but opted not too and chalked it up to being an isolated incident. I can definitely recommend this resort with a good heart and would definitely go back.

The wedding was moved to Port St. Joe so we were trying to find an RV place to stay. Although this RV Park was still trying to reconstruct after the devastation of hurricane Michael, they were going to let us rent a space so we would have a place to stay. You just can't beat kindness and caring, especially during these extremely difficult times, & the people at this park have it. We will make a point to stay here next time we're in their area. Just walk carefully as the floor does get slippery when wet. I took an old towel to throw down. There are no trees, but there is lots of grass and small ponds. There are two dog areas (large and small dogs) with agility courses. And then there's a dog wash area. This is a quiet campground. No permanents or seasonal folks. No street noise. Just birds and quiet. But here's the deal; the GPS coordinates take you on a roundabout odd way. And I had read that on another review. So, I called the campground and Shannon said to stay on 231. We did and we went right to the entrance, which is part of Magnolia Creek. It's about 7 miles from the Florida/Georgia line. (Just stay on 231) it's a big boulevard entrance that winds around down to the campground. Large house is the office. Again, this place is just awesome!

Sapphire Island was the one place in the region with a vacancy that I could find, so I jumped on it. I knew this RV park would not be the same kind of camping experience I'd have had at a state park, but I was pleasantly surprised during my stay there. I had no trouble finding a flat spot to pitch my tent; the bath house was clean and well-maintained; and even though it's right off a big highway, the place was remarkably peaceful--there were no jerks blasting music or revving loud engines or anything like that. And making day trips to the beach was easy enough. The place could definitely be easier to find, especially at night. When I was there the only markings at the entrance were a couple of feather flags.

I can't stress enough how valuable it is to purchase an annual SP pass, Florida has so many beautiful parks if you are traveling across the state this annual pass will more than pay for itself. Visiting this park during the off season was especially rewarding, no crowds so we practically had the entire beach to ourselves, the white sugar sand and clear warm water was the perfect place to be on a warm fall day. Although shelling was a disappointment the abundance of wildlife and native plants more than made up for it. This is definitely a state park I'd return too, maybe spend a few days here in the RV when in the area...

It is always going to be 5 star review for the Resort but this time if this review was for the Ranger I would give a ONE star because he has decided to not buy dog poop bags and some people just don't clean up after their dogs if you don't provide the basics because they are not prepared and I don't blame them because you expect to find bags like in ANY other Florida State Park to find poop bags all over. Now instead there is dog sh!t in some places that the Ranger should go and pick it up himself just because he is trying to save money to finish construction of his new office and moving resources from one budget item to another is not the solution, please poop bags are a must Mr Ranger, adhere to your budget and buy some bags so whoever is unprepared can clean up after their dog.

It would be hard to get lost. There are selfie spots along the trails too!! There are also trolleys that take you to the lake and to the beach. I would come back when in the area again for sure.
