The salesperson actually encouraged me to return with my children so they can taste their way through some mueslis and pick their favorite. This inviting store is a great way to inspire kids to get into muesli! I have every intention of returning with my children. As it was, I was there today on my own. At 5pm it was very busy, but the saleslady still found time to give me personal service. I was looking for a muesli that was similar to my kids' favorite brand but healthier. No sooner had I said this than the person helping me was on the internet googling the ingredients of my kids' favorite brand for me! She then made a suggestion based on this information and offered to let me taste it. I had the choice of sampling it with milk, soy milk or yogurt. It was delicious and had half the sugar of my kids' favorite brand as well as many more varieties of whole grains. I highly recommend a stop here. Even if you're not a muesli fan yet, you might walk out as one after tasting your way through a few of these delectable concoctions!

Luckily, I walked pass the shop on the day where they where offering free try-outs, so I used this wonderful opportunity to try the low-carb Müslis that I was longing to try for a long time. The low-carb (Paleo) versions were "Paleo Apple Crunchy" (14,90 EUR for 500 g) with 31 g of carbs and the "Paleo Coconut Nut Crunchy" (12,90 EUR for 500g) with only 16 g of carbs! Instead of oats or cornflakes, Paleo Müslis consists mainly of chopped mixed nuts (Hazel-, Cashew-, Brazil-, Pecan nuts, almonds, and mixed seeds) and dried fruits. I also tried the "40% Protein Müsli", which the basis are soy flakes and almonds. This Müsli has only 15 (!) g of carbs. The three kinds that I mentioned above contain no sugar which is great for the low carb diet! The staff were super friendly and gave me these three types to try, mixed with pure yogurt. They all tasted absolutely WOUNDERFUL!!! I fell in love right away with these Müslis. I bought 2 boxes of "Paleo Coconut Nut Crunchy" and 1 box of the "40% Protein Müsli". The "Paleo Apple Crunchy" tasted great but silly me still thinks that 31g of carbs per 100g are too much ^^'! They also have an Online shop where you can create your own Müsli by using the "Müsli Mixer" and choosing your own basis, fruits, etc... as you wish! Great idea from the company!! But it has most everything of what you'll need or want as far as produce is concerned. You'll get quality products at a very inexpensive price, and that's really all you need if you want or need for your basic cooking ingredients or homemade salads! As I mention time and time again, whenever possible, you really should support these small local businesses; s'all good man!

This new denn's Biomarkt in the 18th district is a really good size. It basically stocks everything…read morethat a normal supermarket does, except it is all bio. I have never seen such a wide range of bio stuff. From alcohol, to chocolate, to teas and body products (shampoos, creams etc.) etc. Seriously...so much stuff! It also has it's own bio-bakery inside with bread, pastries and cookies. The freezer section is quite impressive too. The prices are more than what you would pay for bio products at Spar or Billa but there is so much more choice at denn's. Worth a look! Not 100% sure that there is such a need for a denn's of this size up here in the 18th...directly over the road from a Billa and about 100m away from a Hofer, but we will see...

I've eaten there only a handful of times, but it was pretty good each time. I frequently buy produce there, or a liter of milk, et cetera. It's a bit pricier than other local stores for groceries, but since everything is definitely locally-grown, etc (and it's super convenient, for me), the price is okay. I'd say I do about 15-20% of my grocery shopping here. As for the lunch buffet, my fiancé and I are always meaning to eat there more often (one day he bought me a *vegan* "kebab" (as they're known in Vienna) to go.) As a hardcore meat-eater, even he liked it.

Are vegetarians' expectations so low when they eat out? :-P…read more I've tried it for lunch to break the pattern of stelze, schnitzel, spare ribs and kebab that usually establishes when you eat around wien as a tourist (showing my parents around the city). We had pasta al forno (ok), rice-chickpeas-vegetables soup (pretty good), a falafel plate (loads of cous cous and not enough falafel and vegetables) and a vegan pastry (pretty bad). It was fairly expensive, but not as much as the shop they run in the front. So here is my review... a mediocre "OK". You won't regret setting foot in the establishment, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there either.
