Which is the standard practice for all doctors. The person on the phone could not look that info up then so she advised me - we would call you a day before your appointment and we can find this info the . No calls until 4.30 pm the day before, when I called in. The lady says - yes I have not been able to make my calls yet. When I asked about how much I would owe for my visit tomorrow. She says - I can tell you when you come in tomorrow. I said - I like to avoid surprises before my visit. She mentions - we don't have you insurance info here. She proceeds to tell me - she has 2 other patients in the office. So she is not sure if she can get the payment info for me. This is not a good way to make the first impression. Please follow through on what you committed. 1. The insurance info provided at the appointment booking should be saved. 2. Patients should not have to chase the payment info. You should be able to provide atleast an estimate (we understand this info can change) 3. Finally, why would you make it so shady and not be transparent about how much you would be charging. Customers have a right to transparent charges information. I really was looking forward to this and I hope they improve their new customer experience.

A friendly, but very efficient Rachel gave him forms to fill out & checked him in. She explained that the law says they may not take insurance info until the doctor sees him. No wait at all & after weighing him, he was given a bed. RN Bob recorded his symptoms & meds, Harry painlessly & promptly took blood, blood pressure, etc. & swabbed his nose. Travis took 2 x-rays. They gave him an IV against dehydration (bc he had vomited w diarrhea) and intelligent Dr. Chang came in to extensively advise us what the tests revealed & write 3 prescriptions. Was grateful they found no need for antibiotics bc it was a virus. Not pneumonia again. Not flu. We were there 1-1/2 hrs total. Felt better it wasn't as serious as we feared. Also, I was treated there a year ago w high fever, they ran tests & immediately sent me by ambulance to MH West Hospital, saving my life. Far better than the nearby urgent clinic we had both frequented in the past. For true illnesses other than a cold or earache, MH Emerg Clinic is outstanding.

Each therapist made sure I understood the exercises and how to do them properly. I would gladly recommend Patti and her wonderful staff to anyone.

I was willing to sign the no-show policy, but I couldn't access that form without first agreeing to the financial responsibility form I had already declined. I explained this multiple times, but the front desk staff didn't seem to understand the concern. After going back and forth several times with no resolution, I decided to leave. I am a medical practice consultant and know that the receptionist or front desk staff are often more important than the providers. They are a patient's first contact. She does not get enough credit for always being on top of insurances, orders from Drs and scheduling among other jobs that are not in her job description (but remember she's a team player with 27 years of experience ). If this company finds themselves without Maria in the future I will not be returning. She is a big part of why I kept returning through two joint replacements and back issues.
