I consider myself an eyelash psycho. I've done it all - falsies, extensions, mascaras, serums…read more.. you name it, I've tried it. I'm extremely picky about extensions, and know a good place when I try it. Out of all the extension places I've tried (more than a dozen in the GTA), Tokyo Beauty Studio is the ONLY place I've come back to. I've been coming to them for a couple years now; Whenever I go on vacation and don't want to deal with the hassle of falsies/mascara, you can find me here. There are different technicians, but everyone is excellent. They're perfectionists and meticulous. I can tell them what I'm looking for - and they'll definitely deliver. Unlike other eyelash extension places, they always understand what I want before putting lashes on me. Best of all, these lashes LAST. The full look lasts around 3 weeks for me (Which is a miracle. Admittedly I do rub my eyes, use cleansing oil, the whole shebam.) I don't want a "I bought $1 falsies from eBay and stacked them on my eye" look. I want a "damn, she must have some next level genes to have lashes like that" look. Tokyo Beauty Studio absolutely delivers. I would strongly recommend this studio!

I was nervous at the beginning because it was my first time doing the filler. The nurse Sandy was very gentle and caring during the whole time. She started from doing a facial assessment for me, pointed out where she would like to "fix it" to overall improve my facial contour. During the actual injection, I like how she explained every steps patiently before she did anything on me. She made sure that she's doing gently and slowly on me. She is also a very friendly person, we chatted throughout the whole procedure to kind of disturbed my attention from the needle. This way really eased me a lot!!! Of course the most important part is the amazing result she achieved for me!! I looked like I just had a 20 hours of beauty sleep. I LOVE that I looked less-tired with this refreshing, youthful but natural looking result. I can't thank Sandy for more so I decided to come here and give her a 5 stars review. I'm very excited to see my "best result" in the next 10 days time. Definitely recommended Sandy at SKINMED!! Thank you Sandy!!!

In CAD, it is close to $200 AND it does not include gratuity and taxes! You have to pay taxes and gratuity separately after you're done the spa. Be careful not to pay tip on top of taxes. For some strange reason, they offer a tip percentage on top of taxes when you pay through debit/credit. The spa was great. It took about 2 to 3 hours to finish the body massage, facial & body wrap all tgt. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the package was not worth $200CAD plus taxes AND gratuity. The facial, body massage + wrap were only average. Nothing too special.

I had never gotten a Brazilian wax before, nor sugaring of any kind. I was convinced to try it…read moreafter reading and hearing the pros of sugaring. I stumbled upon Sugar Me Spa on Google and read some mixed reviews, but decided to give this place a try anyways. I booked my first Brazilian sugar appointment through their online booking service in April 2019 at the RH location. Jasmyne was my aesthetician, she made me feel comfortable and walked me through the process of my service. I left not knowing what the results should look and feel like, but now that I've gotten a bunch of Brazilian sugars done (with another business), I can confirm that my experience with Sugar Me Spa was not great. I still had a lot of hair that hadn't been "pulled" out by the sugar, but I thought that's how Brazilian waxes were as it was my first time receiving one. It looked like I had shaved quickly and didn't bother to go over a second time to get all the remaining hairs. It didn't bother me as I trusted the process and was planning to book with Sugar Me Spa again once time came. Their online booking was extremely inaccurate in regards to the times and/or dates available for services. I booked my second appointment, only to be texted that the establishment was closed during the time slot I had chosen and I had reschedule. I wasn't able to reschedule, so I cancelled it instead. I booked another appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne as I already dealt with her my first time around), through the same online system. I received another text a week before my appointment stating Jasmyne was not working during the date and time I had chosen. I was offered different dates and times to reschedule, however, time was too tight to reschedule. I asked if another aesthetician could provide the service, to no avail. I rescheduled my appointment 1 month later (with Jasmyne) in August 2019, only to be texted that Jasmyne couldn't make it to work and was asked to reschedule again... Overall, over a span of 4 months, I went once with mediocre results. Their appointment booking service is extremely hectic and inconsistent.
