We stayed here for a week last August and had a really nice holiday.
The park is near Halsetown and is fairly easy to get to with a touring van with no scary single file roads to worry about.
It's a good spot to visit the far South of Cornwall - Lands End, St Ives, Penzance etc.
As you come in there is a field on the left where you can park up if you have arrived early or pay a little extra, like we did, to leave it there on departure day if you fancied leaving later.
On the other side of the road is a large field for football, kites etc. From this point there is a regular bus run down into St Ives and a footpath that leads to St Ives which will take you about 40 minutes but is a nice walk.
The park itself is quite large with alot of pitches and amenities. There is a club house with evening entertainment, arcade, play area, pitch and putt course and a well stocked shop.
Where we were pitched we had a perfect view of the sea, however we got an awful lot of wind blowing in from the sea so take a rope to keep your awning from flying away.
Nice surroundings, clean park, friendly staff. All you need for a relaxing holiday. read more
