The place was about half full, but folks were constantly in and out for takeout orders... seems to be the norm in terms of service based on other reviews. So call ahead! That's what I'm gonna do next time. And there most definitely will be a next time because THEY WERE DELICIOUS! Great texture, great filling... nice and cheesy, but not obnoxiously. I'm going to make it a point to go through the full list. The Loca sounds fun because it has pork, chicken, beans, cheese, squash AND loroco. If you like pupusas, give em a shot for sure. The plates were so thin that the liquid from the curtido--the cabbage served with the pupusas--soaked right through them. They weren't suitable for the food we were eating. They're also consistently stingy with the cabbage. There's plenty of tomato sauce, but getting enough cabbage to go with the order is another story. The service is otherwise okay, and I have no complaints about the flavor or prices. But customers placing a large order shouldn't have to argue for enough plates for everyone eating. If decent plates and adequate sides require a small price increase, I'd rather pay that than deal with this hassle. Great food, but this experience left a bad impression. Basic supplies shouldn't feel like a battle.
