The parking lot was smaller than expected, but we were still able to find a spot. We ordered the chili cheese fries and a Cheese Whiz steak. The cook was very friendly and even asked how we wanted to customize the cheesesteak. After ordering, our food was ready within just a few minutes. One thing to note is that there are no restrooms and seating is limited to a covered outdoor area. With the windy weather and traffic noise, we ended up taking our food home instead. The cheesesteak itself was delicious, with cheese whiz in every bite pairing well with the beef and onions on a soft hoagie roll. I did feel like the overall flavor could have been a bit stronger, but it was still very satisfying. The fries were generously loaded with chili and more cheese whiz and had a steak fry texture, not super crispy but not soggy either. Overall, the portions were great for the price and it is a fun spot to check out.

We ordered the Royal Flush Reuben, which was packed with tender corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and creamy dressing on perfectly grilled rye bread. The Ben Sherman's Corned Beef & Pastrami was loaded with flavorful, juicy meat stacked high with amazing deli flavor in every bite. The Banksy Sandwich was another winner -- savory pastrami with rich toppings and perfectly toasted bread that all came together so well. Every sandwich came with their homemade crispy chips and honestly those chips were addicting. Fresh, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. We loved every bite of our meal. The only downside was the service. The staff didn't seem very welcoming and the female cashier especially looked pretty grumpy. Still, the food itself was fantastic and definitely worth coming back for!

You can tell they're going for that classic deli style, and they deliver on taste. That said, the biggest downside is the price. The portions were and the quality of the ingredients is there, and everything comes with chips and a pickle which is a nice touch. Overall, I'd say it's worth trying if you're downtown and craving a good deli sandwich, just be ready to pay a little extra for it.

Both inspired by the French colonial era, built on a French baguette with pickled veg, just different proteins and sauces. Same-same, but different. We are thrilled to have a great spot for these sandwiches on our side of town. Meat to veg to bread ratio was on point. Let's talk about the bread, it was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and didn't cut the roof of your mouth. No contest, a thousand times better than Lee's. We'll definitely be back! We had the Nom Pang Classic with Turkey & it is now a new favorite sandwich. The sub dressing on that sandwich The other sandwich was the Clubbing Dayz also enjoyed that. Both sandwiches were great! Love the alfalfa sprouts too! We tried the Supreme Panini with chicken & it was dry. The chicken is real, but thick , and the bread is a toasted ciabatta bread ( a little over toasted). I would have liked to have dressing for the panini. It was just too dry. But we will definitely return for the sandwiches! We are so happy they came back from vacation (well deserved). And happy they are in our neighborhood! Come check them out, the sandwiches are delicious & made with love- not slapped together!

Listen, ever since I left San Francisco, I've been chasing that real sandwich experience. You know,…read morethe kind that makes you pause mid-bite and question your entire sandwich history. Well... found it at 702 Sandwich Shop My wife and I pulled up, ordered the Americana sandwich on Dutch crunch bread, and let me tell you...this wasn't just a sandwich, this was everything I've been searching for. In addition, this is a small business, the kind you want to root for. We actually got a chance to talk to the owner, and he told us his wife makes the bread fresh daily. DAILY. And you can taste that love in the recipe. We also had the tomato basil soup. My goodness. That soup had me reconsidering every canned soup decision I've ever made in my life. Like, where was this when I needed comfort? And because we like to live a little, we grabbed some desserts to go. They too were a hit. Bottom line is that 702 Sandwich Shop didn't just make me a sandwich, they restored my faith in sandwiches. And when you add in fresh bread, family vibes, and people who actually care about what they're serving? Yeah... that's different. We're definitely going back but honestly, not soon enough.
