Since my last review I purchased a new watch from Pollack's Jewlery at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. I had been eyeing the watch for a while and finally negotiated a fantastic price with Steve the owner. What a great store , tops at Sawgrass Mills. Steve is so nice and his knowledge on high end watches is unmatched in Broward County. The entire staff is friendly and they are knowledgeable. My wife loves the Pandora section. I was ecstatic with the deal I received on the watch. Steve's assistant Stu is also very knowledgeable and also an expert on high end watches. I have dealt with Steve and Stu for over 20 years and always leave the store happy. Without a doubt a five plus star establishment. read more

Just went in to see a watch. Associate asks for my id, fine. Takes it and immediately puts it behind her without saying a word. Mind you I just put down my 6,000 watch before even pulling out my id. Point of the matter is you don't take customers ids without telling them what you're going to do with it. I've bought a Rolex from here for 14,700 In 2020 no issue no I'd asked for. I was thinking about making another purchase today, I guarantee you I will not spend a cent there again. Unprofessional. I should feel at home and welcomed before spending thousands. Not like a potential crook. Oh and the watch I did buy there wasn't serviced since 1996. Had aftermarket parts and multiple stores wouldn't even take it on trade. As my husband birthday was coming up I wanted to look at the inventory of the pre-pwned Rolex watches, without a doubt the best selection in the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, today the owner helped me and offered to clean my wedding rings (which was purchased there). Worst customer service ever!! The women who worked at the Pandora counter are the rudest people ever. No greeting when we came in, and when I asked one of the reps to see a bracelet she just told me the price as if I couldn't afford it. However when a white female customer came in, they greeted her immediately. I watched as the white female customer asked the same rep to see a bracelet, the rep opened the case right away (didn't tell her price) and let her try it on. DO NOT spend your money or time in this establishment. They discriminate and make judgments based on race and ethnicity. read more

I was walking thru the mall and happen to see Pollack Jewelers, we were being helped by a gentleman that was very patient in answering all of our questions and was very pleasant . If ZERO was an option, we would take it!! 1. On 8-7-22, we went into Pollack Jewelers to see the men's Rolex. The owner said he could deliver a custom Rolex based on the picture we showed to him & had us apply for Synchrony Credit. Meanwhile, we left the store to think about it & told the owner that we would get back to him. 2. After a few hours, we received a call from the owner, and he was VERY agitated with us because we did not make the purchase at that time. He proceeded to tell us that we must make the purchase that day or the Synchrony Credit would become invalid. So, we went back and purchased the watch (based solely on his MISS-information of the Synchrony Credit) 3. We gave a LARGE CASH down payment & financed the rest. 4. A few days later, he showed us the Rolex watch, which was NOT what we ordered. 5. We attempted to give the owner an opportunity to correct & his solution was to increase the price significantly. 6. From there, we consulted our attorney, and he advised us that the statement from the owner about using the Synchrony Credit that day only was false. 7. We contacted Synchrony Credit Bank, and they IMMEDIATELY reversed the charges in our favor & apologized to us for the misrepresentation of this merchant after they thoroughly reviewed the complaint. 8. The final step was to get our large cash deposit back, to which our attorney contacted Pollack Jewelers, to which he has NOT responded. 9. We have ZERO product, and he remains to hold our cash deposit! 10. We have tried multiple times to handle this civilly. However, the owner refused to respond. Pollack Jewelers has left us only one option but to share this experience. Our hope is that the owner will see how far he has pushed us to this point and do the right thing and return our cash deposit. read more

I just graduated and went in search of a Rolex while I was at Sawgrass Mills. The same store owner mistreated me; I had never been so aggressively treated, especially in a place of business. I mentioned that I was offered the same day I entered a Rolex store one of the models I asked about, and he told me that I was the only person in the world who could obtain it that way. I really feel mistreated after his shouts (he almost jumped over the counter to attack me). Watches in poor condition, the owner a complete jerk. I ended up at TPT Miami buying the same Rolex I asked about, and it was more expensive there than where I ended up buying it new. I bought a ring at this store POLLACK JEWELRY sawgrass mall (the worst decision I've ever made) and before doing the payment I asked the lady who works there if I could return it and get my refund if I would like to do it, the employee said yes we can so I did the payment. After 1 week I noticed the ring was defective so I came back to the store to return it but the lady manager said they doesn't allow refunds. Ok but if their employee who sold me the ring told me than I'm allowed to do it they have to do it but the manager start having an attitude to us and start making a situation just for a refund in a defective ring. So she called the owner and the owner called the police on us and now we are not allowed anymore at this store or the police could arrest us. They are totally scammers also the officers told us is not the first time it happens. All of them are scammers especially the owner. Why did I go in there? Interested in Rolex They do have a healthy stock of new and pre-owned Rolex's. The first question I asked, was if you are an authorized dealer in there. The gentleman, Will, immediately with attitude said "why do you want to shop authorized dealer if you can't find it" and did mention because they have to sell at MSRP or lose their license to sell. I tried on a few of the pre-owned watches on and asked if I could take a picture of the submariner and Will with the rudest tone said no, which I understood but the tone was completely out of line. My dad who was also with us asked if they did trade in's. Will answered Yes, so my father proceeded to take his watch off to see what they would give it for himto upgrade to one of the new ones. Again, Will, with attitude started to raise his voice talking down to my father that "That's not how it works. You don't just take your watch off and we look at it to tell you a price". Continued to raise his voice so I said, Let's go, and told Will that the way he talks to customers is beyond me, especially when I am looking for a Rolex and in the market to buy on. Will proceeded to tell me I am not in the market for anything since I want to pay MSRP and started to scream at me saying I am the one with the attitude all while other customers were in the store looking at Pandora. Keep in mind ... 5 out of 5 of us adults all had Rolex's on and NONE of us have EVER experience such disrespect from a retailer in our lives. I was vacationing in Fort L. And I went to the Sawgrass Mall and I walk in the Pollack Jewelers, I was just doing window shopping, everything looks very nice, but I did not intend to buy anything. Then I talk to this nice lady and she show me some beautiful bracelets, at the end I came out of the store with two bracelet and very happy of my purchase. This lady was very nice, respectful and knows how to treat a customer, she never pushes me to buy, and on the contraire she made me feel good about it. He was very helpful and kind in the whole process and i am one happy customer. This proved to me that i was wrong and that is why i am doing a new review. Walked in with a friend of mine, a man with blonde hair came up to us (in a very dry non-friendly way) I asked him if a particular Rolex model had been discontinued (from what I had heard) and proceeded to respond sarcastically "I have a few right in front of view brand new" then when I asked him a couple of questions he acted as if he was tired and with an attitude, barely responding to my questions, kinda like mumbling and whispering..that's when my friend and I told him to go fuck himself and walked out. My assumption is that he was a racist and was looking down on us, not knowing that my friend is a high ranking fire fighter officer for the city and I'm in management for a fortune 100 company, AND both us own and were wearing our Rolexes yesterday. In 2017 I had an encounter with Steve. His remarks towards me made me feel devalued as he questioned my integrity. Fast forward to 2021. With none of this know to my family. We were browsing the mall and I knew my little sister was in the market for a Rolex. So I mentioned for her to go in there and check out the watches. Finding watches in today market is difficult. Right away I got the vibe like we weren't important or capable to be shopping in their store. He ignored questions & was preoccupied on his phone to assist us with our search. Another poor experience this time I decided to post about it. As He decided to mouth off to my sister as we walked out because she vocalized he was being rude. 4 potential customers all currently own a Rolex and wanting to add to their collections. The lady behind the counter helped me and the bezel I liked she said when I asked her the price of it she said it is a much as the Rolex u r wearing. I said r u nuts. I said how much is it she said I have to call my boss so I said call him. She did not I said call your boss she said can u leave me a deposit I said y would I leave u a deposit on something I dont know the price of. Looked over the 2 Hulks they had there and decided on one for $14,700. The "Rolex expert" guy there decided to offer me $8700 for my NO DATE, which was fair. I tried to get a little better deal on his Hulk by offering him a few hundred less, he declined. They asked me to leave my watch at their store and walk around and think about it, I respectfully declined and put my watch back on. I decided to take some time to research going rate pricing with my watch guy back home, so we left the store. Shortly after I get a text from the guy at Pollack Jewelers asking me to come back and do the deal with him, I thought about it and figured it was fair so we went back after agreeing on the terms of the sale. We walk back in, he says he has to open my Submariner NO DATE to inspect it, I say that's totally fine. I told him he has to open his Hulk I was buying and he proceeded to give me the nastiest attitude stating "well yea I'm going to open both of them because there is a lot of fakes out right now". While they were opening my and their watches I was talking to the lady at the counter about how to authenticate a real Rolex, telling her all the facts and points of where to inspect the watch at to tell if it's real. 30 seconds later, the "Rolex expert" says to me "I can't do the deal, I didn't have my glasses on when I looked at your watch earlier, it doesn't even have a date on it" I say, NO SHIT ITS A SUBMARINER NO DATE WATCH".....how did you not see it when you looked the first time it's plain as day! I feel a little uneasy that my watch was taken apart after the deal was done, and I was very disappointed in the fact that he's a WATCH EXPERT and COMPLETELY didn't know what kind of Rolex he was looking at originally. I personally think he got scared when he figured out I knew so much about Rolexs so he told me that he didn't want to do the deal......seems fishy on his part to me. BUYER BEWARE. Buyer beware, they will not take back any merchandise. They don't tell you that while you're shopping. Even if they know you're buying a gift they don't warn you they don't take returns. I was looking for the Tourneau store at the Sawgrass Mall and stumbled across Pollack Jewelers on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. I was VERY interested in a couple of watches (new and preowned), while a young woman initially helped me she kept referring back to an older gentleman possibly manager (I wish I got his name because he was quite rude) as she was not an expert on the merchandise. He seemed disinterested in helping her or me. When it came to price again, she asked him some questions and he immediately ignored her question to only ask another customer that walked in the door for help (of which they did NOT and was just browsing.) That so-called 'manager' better be named Pollack OR should be taught some respect and to the very least customer service. I was traveling to Ft. Lauderdale on business and come there quite often, thankfully that area has a number of stores that carry the watches I'm interested in and for that kind of money, the others will give me a much better buying experience. I would NOT recommend this store for their poor customer service alone! read more
