Karen Mcmenamin 15h · To everyone on Facebook! please do not ever buy flowers from Polities! we purchased $650 worth of flowers for my sons funeral. A large flower, and want it a banner, saying son, medium flower with a banner to say brother and a smaller flower from his nephews who call him dude banner. When we got to the funeral home, we did not see them. We asked the Director and he said they never came son and brother but Dude did. My flowers were in the back behind the chairs with no markings never made it to my sons casket.. the flower shop will not admit they made a mistake. They're telling me that it's the funeral Poler's problem not theirs and I am not even asking for a refund. I said I believe she should give me a discount two days arguing with her and she hung up on me telling me that she for filled her order. after a little bit of an arguing match she hung up on me again ! My husband ordered me a dozen blue roses for my birthday which was Saturday 4/18. They arrived and I changed the water immediately like the instructions state. I noticed yesterday that the roses did not stand up and were looking dead. I called the florist and let them know today and they were very standoffish. I tried to call the Springfield location and than called the Upper Darby location and was told due to covid 19 that the Springfield location was closed. I spoke to the woman at Upper Darby and explains what was going on with the roses. The woman asked if I changed the water I said yes. She apologized for the roses being dead. She offered to replace them however they didn't have anymore blue roses and stated that they may be in either tomorrow or next week, than offered to send another color. I stated that I did not want another color and would like a refund. The lady put me on hold, and when she returned to the phone told me they need to pick up the dead roses before they could give me a refund and also my husband would need to call for a refund since he placed the order. I told the lady that he used our joint account and I am also on the account and would like a refund please. They picked up the flowers and am still waiting for a refund. Will prob never order from here again. I will stick to my normal places that I don't have issues with! Very disappointing birthday gift! read more

I used Polite's when buying flowers for my grandparent's anniversary. They have lived in Upper Darby their entire lives and I realized, I have never sent them flowers!!! I opted for using a local establishment rather than one of the big name online places and I am SO glad I did. Not only is Polite's affordable but the bouquet I sent them is GORGEOUS. I ordered the flowers in the afternoon for next day delivery and they were delivered before 9am!! My grandparents absolutely adore them and I have once again solidified my position as favorite granddaughter. I will be going to Polite's from now on. Thanks again! read more

I ordered flowers for my son's date for a junior prom 3 weeks in advance from the Springfield location. I was told they would be ready by 10:30am on the day of the prom. He got there at 1pm to pick them up and guess what? No flowers. At first they told him they didn't have an order for them despite him showing them the receipt for $78. It took them a good 15 minutes to figure out that the flowers were at the Upper Darby location and said they would have the driver bring them to springfield in about 30-45 minutes. He was already behind schedule given that they weren't there when they were supposed to be and they couldn't figure out where they were so he said he would go to Upper Darby to pick them up. I called and asked why they weren't where they were supposed to be and what the issue was and they just said that is was because they had 12 workers in UD and only 1 in springfield and they were running behind. Not sure why that is an excuse for not being where they were supposed to be at the time they were supposed to be there. If they were going to be picked up at 10:30am they should be at the location I ordered them from. Luckily he didn't go at 10:30am because they wouldn't have been ready yet. If they can't keep up with the workload then they probably shouldn't take that many orders. The flowers were pretty but his boutonniere was completely the wrong color and he ended up not being able to wear it. I would not use again. read more

Polites did the flowers for my wedding and words cannot express how happy I was with the product they delivered!! The staff and designers were a pleasure to deal with. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted so I gave them an idea of the look I wanted and let them run with it. They had great suggestions and my centerpieces were elegant and simple. They also came in under my budget. I highly recommend Polites for any occasion!!!!!!!! read more

I will never use or recommend Polites Florist again. After the death of a woman very dear to me, I ordered flowers from Polites for her funeral service. When I arrived for the service, the flowers I ordered were nowhere to be found. Not in the chapel, not in the waiting area, nowhere. I was devastated. This woman was extremely important to me and I wanted to honor her memory with flowers, and nothing was there. I asked the receptionist if they could have been in another room and I was told that all flowers delivered were in the chapel. Needless to say, I became extremely angry. I called Polites and was told that the delivery person tried to deliver the flowers, but when he arrived he was told that the funeral was the day before. I don't believe that for ONE second!!! Especially considering that there were several other arrangements that made their way there for her services! I can't even begin to explain how disappointing and hurtful this was. The funeral was hard enough, but being taken advantage of at this time was crushing. If I don't get my refund I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Even if I do get my refund, that won't let the family know how much this woman meant to me, and it won't excuse their horrible business practices. I wonder what they would have done if I hadn't called to see where my flowers were? They had my phone number but never called to fill me in on what they claimed happened...Guess what! Even when greiving. I'm not stupid. I can't believe they were just going to take my money... Polites is useless. DON't use them, unless you want to pay for something that they will never deliver. read more

I ordered a sympathy gift basket for a close friend who had lost a loved one. The order was made online at approximately 8pm and I was able to schedule the delivery for the next day! I was sending on behalf of a group and after submitting my order, I decided I wanted to change they way I had signed the card. I followed up with an email indicated the requested change. First thing the next morning (7AM) I got an email from the owner indicating that my changes would be made and the delivery would be made that day. I received a thank you from my friend later that day, indicating on-time delivery. read more

DO NOT USE this florist!!! Mother's Day flowers were not delivered because no one at home---totally understandable. Tag left on door to call for delivery. That is what I did on a Monday. Told "will try to get them out today" No flowers. Called Tuesday am. Told "waiting to get in touch with driver". Called again on Tuesday at 5pm,. Told "still waiting for driver". then "driver just walked in, will get right back to you" Never received return phone call. Called yet again on Weds am and spoke to owner "will get back to you" He didn't. Called again at 5pm on Weds, "still trying to get in touch with driver". Called back at 6...still no info. Flowers finally delivered on Thursday. I can't believe how many phone calls I had to make to get my flowers delivered. The absolute worst service I have ever had from any business!!! read more

I received flowers as a gift from them. It looks completely different from what was ordered (I was shown a photo).
