Oh My Guuuuuudddd!!! Please Do Not Go to this barbershop…read more I had the worst haircut in here and literally walked out in tears today. I came to this barbershop cuz i was in a rush to get a haircut cuz my regular younger incredibly talented barber were booked and i didn't wanna wait till 5pm. Well i paid the price, even after i showed pictures and communicated really well the poor older dude still could not get it right. After we established that he messed up my haircut, i was waiting for him to redeem himself in shaping up my beard and he still failed miserably. I honestly couldn't believe that i made this stupid mistake coming here. I shoulda gotten up from the chair when i realized he messed up the haircut but instead i gave him a chance to shape my beard and just fucked me up all the way. I tried to be nice and smiled even though i was about to cry. I still paid him the 40 dollars cuz i'm human but the truth is he didn't deserve a dime. This Barber shop is run by old men who thinks they can cut hair but oh god they barely know how to hold a clipper properly and barely know how use a razor. Go to a Barbershop with younger barbers as they're usually highly trained to cut modern haircuts for men with superb ability to fade and shape your beards. I ignored the reviews before i came to this place and i paid the price. It's really really bad!!! I cant wait for 2-4 weeks already for my hair to grow to where i need it to be so i can go back to my usual barber and apologize!!! Why God? Why did i make such bad decision today.

Although the customer service was okay or I'm going to say good. This is the worst haircut that I…read morehave ever got at a barbershop ever!! The barbers were nice the two that cut me and my do hair but they were too inexperienced and they did horrible jobs they charged too much for the horrible haircuts that they gave although they were nice it's the worst haircut I've ever had and I usually don't even leave reviews but I had to leave a review about this it was disgusting.

If I could give them no stars I would. I literally started to cry when I saw my boyfriends hair…read morecut. I waited in the car with our daughter as he went inside to cut his hair with his brother. My boyfriend left extremely unsatisfied with the way the barber cut his hair. He had no idea what he was doing and seemed to lack the common sense of giving a person a haircut. The haircut was not symmetrical and he didn't blend the fade (asked for a skin fade that faded into a 1). Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT COME HERE. Btw my boyfriend's hair is his identity and now he is thinking of going bald based of this experience.

The Rockefeller Barbershop was a dream made true by the original owner. He had a fantastic concept…read morefor the first, walk in off the street, downtown barbershop in Cleveland. Prior to its existance, the only downtown shops were hidden away in big buildings. One would not know unless one worked there, or were referred. John Laurie found the old side entrance to the Rockefeller building and saw a downtown shop! He had his own family barber and styling shop in the suburbs for over 20 years. He was excited! He loved the city he came from. Loved the people. And LOVED Indians baseball. He was a great hair artist, as well as father, friend, and husband. His vision was a shop for everyone. No matter who you were. Everybody was welcome. And he trained and had trained with the best of the best barbers all around. The Metzger brothers. Craig Scheffer, and Donna Sutton. Donna is still there if I'm correct. Combined they had over 150 years in the business and were known as the best ones in the city. Much respect to his vision, his legend and his guidance. His vibe might not still be there, but I guarantee that his heart and soul still exists. And may every barber that gets to work in that space contribute to the people the same quality of work and commitment that made his dream become reality.
