BEWARE: On Monday, May 16th my niece (13) and her friend (14) went to Polish nail salon located in Milledgeville, GA. They both got their nails done and a polish change on their toes. They were charged $200 for these services. My niece was charged $70 for her nails, her friend was charged $80. There is NO WAY these nails should have cost this much. When I called asking how much I was to be charged for these same nails I was told it would be $40-$45. When I asked why my niece was charged so much more I was told to come to the salon and they'd make it right. When I went into the salon I was told that the two girls agreed to the price so there was nothing they would do. These girls were taken advantage of. read more

I went to polish for my first five manicures in milledgeville. It is extremely clean and doesn't have a strong chemical smell when you walk in the door. Every time I went to polish I waited at least forty five minutes. Once my husband and I went together and waited almost two hours. I have never been given an accurate wait time. Polish has great prices, unfortunately every time I've went the nail tech has hurt me in some way. The last time I went for a manicure, my nail tech used the acrylic tool to take off my gel polish and buffed my nail until it was thin and painful. My nails were misshapen after this and they hurt. The gel also cracked because the nail underneath was so thin and bendy. Every time I got a manicure it looked fine (besides the last time when my nails were thin) but I don't think the price is worth the long wait and the poor service. read more

My sister and mom and I were all very pleased with our nails. We're from Atlanta and can never find a decent nail salon in sandersville..so we went to milledgeville and it was well worth the drive. I chose this salon for my bridal party and had been there before. I called in advance and spoke with the mgr. She let me know they did not do appts. I let her know I wanted to come in on Friday around 10 am with 5 others to get pedicures and she said it would not be an issue to get us all and would try to sit us all together. When we arrived we all signed in. I went up to counter just to let them know that we were there together just s heads up. As I spoke to the tech the mgr. Yelled out from her chair, No appt. 1st come 1st serve. I said yes I know. And calmly tried to explain that I had called about the bridal party. Again she Interrupted me yelling No appointment 1st come 1st serve. I again repeated I know I am just letting you know we are a here so they could plan ahead to possibly seat us together. Her response is oh ok. I took into consideration she had on a mask and was trying to be louder to be heard but it was very rude and unprofessional. Other customers said to us wow that was rude. We all felt it was. But under a time crunch that day we stayed. The tech barely spoke a word to me and made my toe bleed then proceeded to paint and had blood all down toe and polish. Then the mgr. Pulled the tech doing daughters nails to yell at her in the back You could hear her yell and The tech came back crying and continued her pedicure with tears. As we finished we stood at counter waiting to pay. My daughter pd 1st. Then myself paying for a gel pedicure and 2Iittle girl basic pedicures, regular. Mine was $40 and then they charged me $25 for each of the girls. Which I thought was ridiculous for a 10 yr.old. as we walked out they started to Hillary and accused my daughter of not paying. But ofcourse she had her receipt in her hand still. The same girl who rang her out asking to see her receipt. It was obsurd their behavior and lack of professionalism. First and last time ever at this place! HORRIBLE customer service! I came with my sister for a full set and pedicure. I don't know her name but the lady who sat down to do my pedicure had the nastiest passive aggressive attitude with me. She was rude and not friendly. I brushed it off and tried to enjoy my pedicure with my sister. This same lady also did my nails. She asked me what shape and I told her I want square & thin. Not coffin, just thinner than normal square nails. She told me she knew what I was talking about and she could do it. Well she proceeded to do my nails and they were not thin AT ALL! They were chunky and crooked. She got rude when I said it was crooked and showed my sister who agreed with me. She seriously tried to tell me it was my finger! I also told her to make them thinner. She filed and they were still chunky. At this point I'm like she clearly isn't getting the point and I'm tired of repeating myself so I let her proceed. She gets mad again when I was finished and waiting for my sister because I asked her again if they looked chunky to her and my sister agreed. My sister and I spent about $300 not including tips (which my sister was nice enough to still tip her) with them for our services. Less than a week later my acrylics are lifting. I go back today and asked them nicely to fix the two nails. I sat down & the same lady proceeds to tell me that my nails aren't going to last because the way my nail bed is?! I told her I've never in my almost 20 years of getting acrylics heard that! I said it had been less than a week and there's no way these acrylics shouldn't have lasted. She proceeds to tell me with nasty attitude she can fix them but it's going to be $5!!!! Seriously? I've never in my life been treated like that especially when I spend a decent amount of money. I'm a customer you want to keep around because if I like the way you do it and the way you treat me I'll be a customer for life and send other people that way. I stood up and told her I was not going to pay her to fix her own crappy nail job. She was very rude and was telling me to leave so I told her she sucks at doing nails and she's very rude and I wouldn't be back to this salon ever again. If I could give it ZERO stars I would! My sister and I will be going to Sam at CT nails from now on because he listens to what you tell him you want, he's friendly, & he actually shapes them properly & has ALWAYS fixed them no charge if they lifted before they should have been. I've frequented this location bi-weekly since August 2018 and had one upset that was quickly remedied. I get gel polish service on my natural nail and had a couple nails where the polish began to lift. I went back the next day and Asia took care of the problem. I got a gel manicure done yesterday and this morning I had chipped nails after just washing my hands a few times. My experience was horrible -- the nail tech was rushing the entire time, he filed and grinned my nails down until they were paper thin, and did not properly trim my cuticles etc. The manicure itself was somewhat painful and unpleasant. I called the salon today and told them about how my nails were chipping after less than 24 hours after getting them done and the lady was rude and told me that it was my fault that they were chipping and that I shouldn't have gotten gel with such thin nails (that were not very thin to begin with). I am extremely disappointed with Polish and I will never give them my business ever again. Next time, I'll be going back to My Nails & Spa! read more

The place is definitely nice inside! I have usually gotten seen pretty quick except one time around a bunch of college formals. Pro: They had cute color options that last on my thick nails a while. Con: Even though I have thick nails, they used the scrapping electric drill-thing tool to get my SNS off my nails too much to where it hurt and burned badly. They didn't notice I was in pain. This happened once getting them done, and another time when I went just to get polish off. Pro: I went back simply because I had been once before and it's milly. It's hard to sometimes find nicer things here. They had a poor clean up routine tho. My nail dust went everywhere and they brushed it on the floor towards me??? Con: The OTHER issue I had was that their top coat peeled right off my nails... after two weeks. My SNS from home normally stays months for how thick my nails are. I don't think I'll be going back unless I can't find anything better. I don't think anywhere will be as "nice" but I'm hoping someone else's shiny polish top coat won't peel. read more

I was happy with this salon the first couple of visits. Unfortunately, I had a poor experience today and will not return. Two issues: The technician who took care of my gel manicure did substandard/unprofessional work. My nails were filed crooked, she was very rough, and when I requested that she make adjustments she appeared upset and even rolled her eyes. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable. Second, the color I selected looked different than the sample. I commented on the color and she said it would look lighter once the top coat was applied.The final color did not match the sample. I spoke with the manager in regard to my concerns. I was told that I would need to pay the full price of another manicure to change the color. This is a service business, not servicing the customer as they should. Be careful to communicate immediately if you are not happy with the service you are receiving. read more

Every time I go to polish I wait at least an hour. I have had a few good experiences, but the bad experiences have been horrible. They have gotten my nails too thin twice now. The first time it happened I had to wait 4 months before I could get my nails done again. The last time I went, I waited approximately 2 hours. After the long wait, the technician who did my nails was extremely aggressive. She filled my nail past the point of me saying that it was hot. This led to my nails getting wayyyy too thin. She also kept hitting my skin and did not pay attention to me saying ow MULTIPLE times. It's been two weeks and my nails still hurt. I will never go back to polish. read more

I am not thrilled after the experience I had yesterday. My two friends and I had an appointment for mani/pedi at 5 pm and we did not walk out until 8:15. First, we sat waiting for 40 minutes (with them knowing we made an appointment), then we sat in the chairs for pedicures for so long that my water was cold by the time they got to me. Absolutely awful. I have gone here twice, and each time I have been treated with disrespect and totally unprofessional actions, even illegal. DO NOT GO TO POLISH. 1st visit: got my nails done for a formal event and the next day I woke up with a swollen and red thumb & green pus coming out of it. So I went back and was very respectful and just said that I would like my money and that I'm sure it was just a freak accident. The owner yelled at me claiming "it was the shape of my thumb that caused infection" as I have gotten my nails done many times and this has never happened, saying if I wanted my money back she would have to take the nails off and I said no I do not want your tools touching me, and then proceeded to TAKE A PICTURE ON HER CELL PHONE OF MY DEBIT CARD. Which is so out of line, and then threw me only 40 dollars as I paid 60. 2nd visit: my friends wanted to go there so I decided to give it a second chance, waited for an hour and the owner took a photo of me, without consent. Once I was seated another employee kept staring at me and continued to walk in past me and (attempted to) discretely take pictures of me 4 times and the last one I started freaking out and I told the owner what was happening, she blew me off and denied it as me and my friends saw them from the other side of the camera taking pictures of me. Not only is it illegal to take photos of someone without consent, but it's also unprofessional and so creepy. I will never be going back and I honestly hope those sick people's business shuts down. If you read all of this, please never go there. A lot of people love the place, but don't support a unethical business that has repetitively acted so disgusting. read more

Every time I've tried this location I have gotten poor service. They don't line their pedicure foot spas. Took my own polish and gel on one occasion and they still charged me the same price. SMH the owner pained my nails w/gel on one occasion.... it peeled the next day......but the last straw was one of those two ruff men that work there this past Saturday. I told him several times that his was hurting me as he proceeded to do a dry manicure cutting my (dry never soaked in any type of liquid)cuticles back with a drill. All he does is look at me because he doesn't understand English apparently.....but yet every time i inch my hand back he gives me a stern looks as tho I'm an unruly child not a paying customer. He then starts filing the dryed gel that has collected on the side of my nails because he failed to polish them correctly nor did he clean them up properly as he went and as he's doing so he sees a little piece of skin that's sticking up on the side of my nail. Instead of him using one the many tools he has in the WHOLE NAIL SHOP to cut it. .....This guy snatches my skin back darn near to the 1st part of my knuckle causing me to bleed to the point that I have to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. The owner only offered to "finish for me" No thank you! Why would you want me bleeding all over your table anyway???? Not once was an apology offered or any real compassion shown and I was charged FULL PRICE! Needless to say I won't be returning to give these unprofessional, unsanitary, money hungry individuals any more of my money. Go at your own risk! read more

They do a great job, I will give them that! But you need to set aside 2-3 hours of your day to get anything done because they are extremely understaffed.. Two times I have made an appointment, but did not start my service until 45-60 minutes after my appointment time. Like I said everything they do it great. The organic gel nails are beautiful, they take their time on your pedicure, and the salon is beautiful and clean so I understand being busy!! That is great for business, but they need to either let customers know a realistic wait time when they walk in, don't take appointments, turn people away, or just hire more people... read more

polish nails is definitely a place that you should visit! i used to regularly go to CT Nails whenever i was in town but polish is FAR cheaper! there is a wait, especially because i went on a saturday but the wait was well worth it. once i actually got a technician, they did my pedicure quickly and i was on my way! the place looked clean and the wait staff were nice. if you are sensitive to people speaking other languages, the nail techs do communicate in another language but that's normal. GO TO POLISH!!!! read more
